They enjoyed coffee, Danish layer cake, and learned about the community's history. Dr. Keck shared her Danish heritage and the story of Grand View University, a private liberal arts university founded by Danes. They also toured The Danish Home's ongoing building expansion. Time Confusion - Clocks Set Back in Denmark, Then U.S. |
The next week can be a bit confusing as time changes occur in Denmark and the U.S. Today (October 27) Denmark sets clocks back one hour as Daylight Savings Time ends. Next Sunday (November 3) the United States and Canada will follow, also setting clocks back one hour. The mind gymnastics resume next March as the time changes in both countries occur 3 weeks apart. |
