Join Us This Summer

As we head into the final stretch before summer, we’re actively hiring to complete our Camp Swatara team—and we’d love your help spreading the word!

We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

Housekeeping – 1 staff member (Part-Time / Seasonal Weekends, fill-in role)
Properties (formerly B&G) – 2–3 staff (¾ time)
Lifeguards – 1–2 positions (weekday and weekend availability)
Counselor (Male) – 1 college upperclassman
Counselor (Female) – 2 college upperclassmen
Family Campground Store – 1 staff member
Kitchen Help

Each of these roles plays an important part in creating a safe, welcoming, and Christ-centered experience for every camper and guest. If you or someone you know may be a good fit, we encourage you to apply and be part of what God is doing this summer.

Paul Bunyan Day is Back! 🪓🌲

We’re excited to bring back this favorite event as we prepare for the upcoming camping season!

Join us for a day of serving together as we cut and prepare firewood for the summer. This is a great opportunity to lend a hand, enjoy fellowship, and make a tangible impact at camp.

Pasta Dinner Fundraiser – Join Us for a Night of Food & Fellowship

Camp Swatara invites you to join us for our upcoming Pasta Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM.

This special event is a wonderful opportunity to gather together, enjoy a delicious meal, and support the ongoing ministry of camp. Whether you choose to dine in and spend time in fellowship or take your meal to go, your participation helps make a lasting impact.

Events like this play an important role in preparing Camp Swatara for the summer season—supporting programs, maintaining facilities, and helping create an environment where lives are changed through the message of Jesus Christ.

Bring your family, invite your friends, and come hungry—not just for a great meal, but for the chance to be part of what God is doing at camp.

Experience all of Camp Swatara on a 3.1 mile loop or a 1 mile run/walk through the campground at our 1st 5K Blaze the Way.

Be a sponsor or compete in the 5K, we would love to have you join us.

Family Camp Opening Weekend

Join us to open the Campground for the season! We will be landscaping and cleaning to prepare the grounds for the season.

All ages are welcome to join.

Volunteers are welcome to camp FREE for the weekend. We provide coffee/snack and lunch on Saturday April 25th.

This event is for everyone! Join us for an afternoon of Faith, Fellowship and Fun!!

Stay for the weekend, with free camping by helping us open the campground at 8am on Saturday (coffee/snacks & lunch included). Please register under the Family Camp Opening weekend if interested.
