Summer Is Calling — Reserve Your Spot at Camp Swatara!The campground is filling up quickly, and weekends are booking fast! If you’re planning to stay with us this season, be sure to reserve your site early. Don’t forget—weekday reservations are offered at a discounted rate, and when you book six nights, you receive one night free! Guests are loving our brand-new bathhouse, especially the private showers and stalls. We’re also excited to share that the splash pad is scheduled to make a full return this season—just in time for summer fun. And when you stop by the camp store, you’ll find it stocked with plenty of new goodies—games, LEGO, toys, candy, and lots of new branded apparel. Summer Camp Registration Is Now Open!Registration for camp is officially open, and spots are filling quickly! Several sessions are already nearing capacity, with waitlists forming on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to secure your camper’s place soon. Take advantage of our $25 Early Bird discount available through March 31, and don’t forget to ask about our Good as Gold program. We also offer tiered pricing to provide families with flexible payment options. For more details about our tiered pricing structure, please refer to page 4 of the Program Guide, available on our website. Campership (Scholarship) funds are also available to help make camp accessible for every family. 🍁 Maple Syrup UpdateEven with temperatures staying low — and Punxsutawney Phil predicting six more weeks of winter — maple syrup season has been slow to start. So far, we’ve collected about a half-inch of sap in each bucket. The good news? We’ve been busy tapping more trees! We’re now up to 15+ collection buckets, with plans to add at least 10 more soon. We’re trusting that with the right mix of chilly nights and warmer days, the sap will start flowing more steadily. Get Outside & Learn: Outdoor Education at Camp Swatara!Calling all homeschool families and nature lovers — our Outdoor Education Program invites you to enjoy hands-on, Bible-based learning experiences in God’s creation! This year’s series kicks off on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Maple Syrup 101, where you’ll learn how sap becomes syrup and explore the sweet science behind it. Designed for families, these sessions bring fun and faith together outdoors. Cost is $10 per child, and parents/guardians are asked to stay with their children throughout the program.
