As we step into September, we have some exciting updates and achievements to share with you. This past weekend, our gym was buzzing with energy as we hosted the Between The Bumpers Partner Competition. The event saw excellent attendance and showcased the incredible spirit of our community.

Looking ahead, we're thrilled to introduce a new yoga program, starting this month, aimed at enhancing flexibility and mindfulness. Additionally, we're bringing back our popular Teens Program, providing young athletes the opportunity to grow stronger and more confident, this time around the program is geared specifically towards teen girls. Our postnatal rehab program is also around for another 4 week session. Lastly, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to a couple of our members who have accomplished amazing feats outside the gym this month. Stay tuned for their inspiring stories!

BTB Evening Yoga Flow!

Join Laura at BTB for Evening Yoga Flow!

We're excited to introduce our new evening yoga flow class led by Laura, starting this September. This class is perfect for anyone looking to explore mindful movement, reduce stress, improve flexibility, and feel more calm and relaxed. Through breathwork and intentional movement, Laura will guide you in creating a deeper connection to your body. This practice will help you move, strengthen, create space in both body and mind, and discover insights that you can apply on and off the mat.

To kick things off, we're offering a free introductory class on September 11th at 6:15 PM. After that, the 12-week session will officially begin, running until December 11th, with two weeks off in November (dates to be confirmed).

StrongHer: Teen's Girls Strength & Conditioning Class

Introducing the StrongHer Class: Empowering Teen Girls Through Strength & Conditioning!

We are excited to announce the launch of our StrongHer Class, a new program designed specifically for teen girls looking to build strength, confidence, and resilience. This class is all about empowering young women through fitness, providing a supportive and motivating environment where they can challenge themselves and grow stronger, both physically and mentally.

Our goal is to offer this class on Monday nights at 6-7PM, starting soon—pending interest. We’re looking for approximately 8 teen girls to join the first session. If we see strong interest and participation, we are open to adding a second night per week on Thursday nights, allowing more opportunities for our teens to engage in this transformative experience.

If you or someone you know might be interested in joining the StrongHer Class, let us know! With enough traction, we’ll get started and help our young women become the strongest versions of themselves.

*Program will aim to run 1x Per Week on Monday Nights from 6-7PM for $40 bi-weekly to start. Secure your spot to ensure we get the necessary number of participants.

World Championship For Two BTB Members & Golf Titles

This month we couldn't pick just one so we decided to announce 3 ladies as our BTB members of the month! Congratulations to Sarah Kennedy, Leigh Prichard, and Jane Roberts-Long on using their fitness to do incredible things outside the gym last month! Read more below:

Leigh Prichard & Jane Roberts-Long At Worlds For Dragon Boat Racing!

We are excited to extend our warmest wishes to Jane Roberts-Long and Leigh Prichard as they prepare to compete in the prestigious World Masters Dragon Boat Championships this month in Italy! Representing their team out of Bytown, Jane and Leigh have dedicated countless hours of training and hard work to reach this incredible milestone. Their passion, perseverance, and teamwork have brought them to an international stage, where they will be competing against top teams from around the world.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements and will be cheering them on as they race to bring home the gold. Best of luck to Jane, Leigh, and the entire Bytown team—go make waves in Italy!

Sarah Kennedy Takes Second Place At Golf Tournoment

We are incredibly proud of Coach Sarah Kennedy, who competed in a pairs golf tournament this past month and gave an outstanding performance! After a tough front half, Sarah and her sister rallied and played lights out on the back half, showcasing their skill, determination, and resilience. Their incredible comeback resulted in a tie for first place, leading to a thrilling 3-hole playoff.

While they ultimately fell just short, finishing as runners-up, their performance was nothing short of inspiring. Congratulations to Sarah and her partner for their hard-fought effort and impressive finish! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

HIRING: Group Fitness Instructor/ Personal Trainer

We are seeking a motivated and conscientious coach, with a passion for health and fitness, a mission to connect with and help others and a desire to work hard and grow. The ideal candidate will be well equipped to educate, entertain and inspire our membership base to consistently and effectively improve their fitness and prioritize their health. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning the BTB methodology, teaching body weight, gymnastics, powerlifting, and olympic lifting movements, and supporting our members every step of the way. The successful candidate will coach group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and new member on-boarding sessions.

HIRING: Looking To Bring On A Second Massage Therapist!

We are seeking a skilled, licensed massage therapist to provide services to our clientele 2-3 times per week, with an opportunity to increase to 5x per week starting in February/March to cover maternity leave. This contractor position is perfect for someone looking to grow their client base while working within a dynamic fitness environment that promotes holistic health and wellness.

September Postpartum Rehab Program

Join Our September Postpartum Rehab Program!

Whether you’re 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years postpartum, it’s never too late to restore strength and function in your core and pelvic floor. Our 4-week postpartum rehab program is designed to help moms reconnect with their bodies through a comprehensive examination and progressive healing plan.

Classes are held at Between The Bumpers, and babies are always welcome! You’ll also get your assessment done at Oaktree Health in Stittsville, ensuring a tailored approach to your recovery.

Next Session: September 9th - October 4th

Mondays and Fridays at 10 AM

Cost: $349* (Includes assessment fee + group classes)

*May be covered by your extended health benefits!

BTB Summer Competition Was A Hit!

Congratulations the the over 40 athletes who competed at our first ever BTB Summer Partner competition this past Saturday, and the over 100 people in attendance to either compete, volunteer or cheer on this weekend. The energy in the gym was electric, and we are grateful for everyone who showed up and put in the work this past weekend.
