We are here to help you reach your goals, this newsletter is your go-to resource for all things health and wellness in Stittsville.

We Are Hiring!

We are seeking a motivated and conscientious coach, with a passion for health and fitness, a mission to connect with and help others and a desire to work hard and grow. The ideal candidate will be well equipped to educate, entertain and inspire our membership base to consistently and effectively improve their fitness and prioritize their health. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning the BTB methodology, teaching body weight, gymnastics, powerlifting, and olympic lifting movements, and supporting our members every step of the way. The successful candidate will coach group fitness classes, personal training sessions, and new member on-boarding sessions.

Kids and Teens' Program

Did you know we have youth and teen programs here at BTB? With summer around the corner, it's the perfect time to start a routine to keep your kids active all summer!

This program is designed to help young athletes develop healthy habits and stay moving. Our certified trainers will lead fun and engaging workouts that cater to all fitness and skill levels. By participating in this program, kids and teens will improve their physical health, boost their self-esteem and create lasting friendships. Join us - together, let's empower the next generation to lead a healthy lifestyle and have FUN doing it!

YOUTH CLASS

Grades: 6-9

When: Mondays @ 6:10pm-7:10pm

Cost: $40.00 Bi-Weekly +HST

TEENS Class

Grades: 10-12

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 6pm-7pm

Cost: $70.00 Bi-Weekly +HST

Community Event- Emma is back for Yoga Night!

Guess what? We are bringing Emma back for another Yoga night! The turnout was so good for our February yoga night that we wanted to bring Emma back for one more session before she opens her new studio in Almonte! We're going to be hosting this FREE yoga class and we would absolutely love for you to join us! It's going to be a great opportunity to relax, unwind, and connect with others in the community. So mark your calendars and get ready to strike a pose with us at our upcoming yoga class! We can't wait to see you there!

If you have Yoga Blocks & a Yoga Mat bring it out, if not, no worries, we will have some available at the gym to borrow.

Who is Running The Session:

The Session will be run once again by Emma Kealey a RMT and owner of Emma Kealy Massage in Almonte. When Emma isn't performing Ashiatsu massage from her beautiful Almonte clinic, she's helping run Ottawa Valley Coffee, which she co-owns with her Husband Pat. Emma is also opening her new studio in the months ahead. In the meantime she is running regular classes in the cozy ambiance of Ottawa Valley Coffee.

Who is This For?

Our Yoga night is for any and everyone. You don't need to be a member of the BTB community to join us for this evening of stretching, yoga, and mobility. If you are experiencing pain, looking to reduce stress, or you'd like to come check out the gym, then this session is for you!

Victoria Day: We will have reduced hours 7-10AM for Monday, May 20th.

New Noon Hour ExpressFit45 Class Times: We've added two new noon hour classes: Express Fit 45 will now run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:05 to 12:50, giving you enough time to squeeze in a workout during your lunch hour!

Changes To Saturday's Schedule: You spoke we've listened,(starting May 18th) Class will run at 9:15-10:00AM and Open gym will be from 10:00-11:00AM on Saturdays.

Postpartum Rehab with Dr. Marie Pier

Whether you’re 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years postpartum, it’s never too late to retrain your core and pelvic floor!

If you’re looking to get back into exercise (or get into exercise, period) after having a baby, then this program is for you! Rebuild the strength in your pelvic floor and core and connect with other moms at the same time.

Festivus Games Recap

We're thrilled to share some fantastic news from the recent "Festivus for the Rest of Us" competition in Smiths Falls. It was a day filled with strength, spirit, and spectacular performances, and we're so proud of every team that competed (including all SIX BTB teams!).

A special congratulations to our BTB athletes who stood on the podium in their respective divisions!



A Shoutout to all of our BTB athletes who participated:

Paul McMahon & Pat Pielsticker – A tremendous effort brought them to a fantastic 2nd place in the Men’s Open division. Their hard work and determination were on full display, and they brought home the silver with style!


Sophie Marceau, Emily McMahon, & Elsa-Joy Chalmers – They showed incredible teamwork and grit, landing a commendable 4th place in women's open division. Their performance was nothing short of inspiring!


Lauri Lynch, Sarah Kennedy, & Suman Khulbe – Congratulations on a stellar performance and securing 3rd place in the women's masters division. Their dedication and teamwork paid off, bringing home the bronze!


Cindy Evers, Erin Case, & Cait Warden – They rocked their category with outstanding energy and spirit. Their commitment and enthusiasm were truly infectious throughout the competition!


Melissa Gardner, Samantha Desgroseilliers, & Jo Van Dyke – Great job on a strong and spirited display. Your hard work and perseverance shone through in every event!


Casie Campbell, Alison Tremblay, & former BTB Coach Elsie Jahn – Finishing 2nd place in their division, they demonstrated skill, poise, and teamwork. It was a joy to see them excel and stand proudly on the podium!


We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the participants. Whether you stood on the podium or cheered from the sidelines, your support and sportsmanship make BTB more than just a gym—it’s a community. Each of you contributes to the strength and spirit of our great community, and it is your enthusiasm and commitment that bring us together and push us to achieve more.

Member Of The Month: Michael Louw

We are pleased to announce Mike Louw as our Member of the month. Mike, a new dad, has recently returned to training and has shown exceptional dedication and commitment to his fitness goals.

Despite the challenges of balancing fatherhood and a busy schedule, Mike has made his health and well-being a priority. He has consistently attended our gym sessions, pushed himself to new limits, and demonstrated a positive attitude towards his fitness journey.

Mike's determination and perseverance serve as an inspiration to all members of our gym community. We commend him for his hard work and congratulate him on being recognized as our member of the month.

We encourage all members to follow Mike's example and continue to strive for their fitness goals. Let us all support and motivate each other on our individual journeys towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.
