Yoga Night, Teens Class, Olympic Lifting Class & More!

Another month into 2024 and we couldn't be more excited to spend it with you!

We are excited to announce the launch of some new classes for the month of February. In addition to our regular offerings, we will be introducing a variety of new classes to help you reach your fitness goals. We are also thrilled to invite you to our community yoga event, where we will come together for a night of mobility, mindfulness and stretching! Read below for more details and be sure to mark your calendars for this special event. Thank you for being a part of our fitness community, and we look forward to seeing you in class!

OLYMPIC LIFTING CLASS

You've spoken, we've listened, based on your Feedback from the BTB Members Feedback form, one of the things you've asked about is a little bit of help when it comes to Olympic Lifting.

So leading up to March 1st, we will be adding an Olympic Lifting Class on Wednesday nights at 6:10-7:10PM, free to all members to help you build confidence in the clean and jerk, and the snatch.

Classes run Wednesdays at 6:10PM

A new month means some new classes and additions coming your way!

Olympic Lifting Class: Wednesdays @6:10pm

New Open Gym Time Slots: Monday-Friday @9am Tuesday & Thursday @12pm

Reduced Hours Family Day (Feb 19th: Open from 7am-10am

Postnatal Fitness Class: Monday & Fridays @10AM

Prenatal Fitness Class: Monday & Wednesdays @3PM

TEEN STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASS

Starting this February, we are launching a special Teen Fitness Class specifically tailored for students in grades 10-12. This program offers:

  • Tailored guidance in a small group setting

  • Safe and functional movements to gain strength and develop confidence

  • Opportunities to connect and socialize with other teens

Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, starting February 6th. The bi-weekly cost is just $70+hst. Don't miss this chance to build a strong foundation for lifelong fitness!

Benefits:

  • Improved Strength, Flexibility, Coordination, & Stamina

  • Reduced risk of injury, improved mood, and more energy

  • Chance to build a life long positive relationship with the gym.

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:00-7:00 PM

Community Event- Yoga Night

Guess what? We've got another awesome community event coming up this month and we can't wait to share it with you. We're going to be hosting a yoga class and we would absolutely love for you to join us! It's going to be a great opportunity to relax, unwind, and connect with others in the community. So mark your calendars and get ready to strike a pose with us at our upcoming yoga class! We can't wait to see you there!

February 22nd @7:10-8:10 PM

Where:

At Between The Bumpers (6511 Fernbank Road, Stittsville)

Cost:

Free!

What To Bring:

If you have Yoga Blocks & a Yoga Mat bring it out, if not, no worries, we will have some available at the gym to borrow.

Who is Running The Session:

The Session will be run by Emma Kealey a RMT and owner of Emma Kealy Massage in Almonte. When Emma isn't performing Ashiatsu massage from her beautiful Almonte clinic, she's helping run Ottawa Valley Coffee, which she co-owns with her Husband Pat. Emma is also immersed in her Yoga Teacher Training program and hopes to bring a Yoga studio to her home town of Almonte in the near future.

Who is This For?

Our Yoga night is for any and everyone. You don't need to be a member of the BTB community to join us for this evening of stretching, yoga, and mobility. If you are experiencing pain, looking to reduce stress, or you'd like to come check out the gym, then this session is for you!

We are thrilled to announce that Karen has been chosen as our Member of the Month! 🥳
