Where Tips Can Improve Your Life

HARD WORK = ?

Have you spent months and even years working as hard as you can in your business, from multiple directions? And the results you aim for have yet to show up? The fact you are not alone in that experience is understandably anything but comforting.  Been there, done that!

This is my 33rd year in founding and running this company, a business started with an idea that came from an observation. That was it. And this year has been the best ever in this business, by many definitions. It’s time to share some of that with you. One or more ideas may be a springboard in some way for you.

PERSONALLY…

On a personal note, several years ago marked completion of a 10 year highly challenging personal project of doing an “Inside Job.”  That meant identifying what needed a personal tune-up so the gifts, skills, and talents that came along to the planet could function at their very best level. The results were fantastic, everything that was hoped for, and continue to amaze to this day. 

PIVOT POINT

Teaming up with others rather than doing it all solo is a crucial cornerstone. Two (or more) independent professionals coming together as colleagues makes all the difference in the world. The best source in THIS story has been active membership in a virtual Joint Venture community

Personal professional results include:

  • Received well-vetted referrals that became clients

  • Expanded company reach nationally and internationally

  • Became more genuinely generous as scarcity mentality evaporated

  • Enjoyed increased exposure as podcast and blog guest 

  • Connected with new, valuable vendors

  • Invited to join a helpful weekly mastermind group by a member

  • Developed personal friendships worldwide

  • Had fun and laughed doing business

  • Made (a lot!) more money in a single month than ever before

This community has been an active laboratory to test ideas, experience new levels of self-confidence, learn more professional vocabulary, ask for help, and recognize the value of giving without expectation.

Some of this might be obvious and “old hat” to you. In case it’s not, it’s never too late to learn and to implement new and different elements to your life.
