ANA DELIVERS STRONG PERFORMANCE AT REGIONAL RAIDERS COMPETITIONThis past weekend, the Army and Navy Academy Raiders Team competed in a challenging Regional Raiders Competition hosted by Murrieta Valley High School, delivering a strong performance and finishing solidly in the middle of the pack. While the team didn’t bring home top honors, the experience was unforgettable; each cadet gave their absolute best in every event. The competition featured nineteen schools and thirty-nine teams from across the region, creating an intense and spirited atmosphere. Events tested both individual grit and team coordination, including: Raider Fitness Challenge: demanding agility, strength, balance, and stamina through multiple exercises. Rope Bridge: constructing and crossing a rope bridge over a simulated water obstacle. Dire Event: pulling, flipping, and rolling heavy tires while coordinating as a team through a timed course. Cross Country Rescue: running cross-country with 50-pound rucksacks and carrying a 100-pound weighted stretcher. Squad Run: maneuvering through a one-mile obstacle course requiring teamwork, endurance, and strategy. Despite the fierce competition, the ANA Raiders demonstrated exceptional teamwork, endurance, and determination throughout the day.“Every event pushed us to our limits,” said Cadet Battalion Commander Vincent Sze and Team Captain of the Raiders. Congratulations to all who competed. You represented Army and Navy Academy with pride, resilience, and Warrior spirit. Outstanding job, Warrior Raiders!
