9/3/25: HAPPY BACK TO SCHOOL!

Parent Portal

NEW & IMPORTANT

A NOTE FROM MISS KATE M:

Well, we are all officially back at it! I hope school send off went well yesterday and that the rest of this first week goes smoothly. Getting back to routine is a good thing (even though it sometimes requires a full spreadsheet of where each kid needs to be and when like I just made for my 2 teen sons!).

Classes are going smoothly here! The first few weeks are always a great chance to review things from last season...start learning new moves/techniques and truly get a feel for the group of dancers each class has this season. The teachers have been VERY excited and happy with their classes and we can't wait to see them grow as both dancers and people during the season!

Keeping it short and sweet this week as I know everyone is on overload with back to school. Have a great rest of your week!

With gratitude,

~Miss Kate M

CONGRATS MISS RACHEL!!

Miss Rachel's future dancer decided to make her debut a bit early! We are SO happy for her and her family.

Mom and baby Alice are doing well! Congrats!!!

Miss Ashley, Miss Michelle and Miss Kate M will be covering her classes while she is out on maternity leave.

WE LOVE TO LEARN AND GROW!!

One of the core values we hold and hope to inspire other to have is a love of learning. Last week Miss Kate M completed her Body Confident Coach certification. It's a FREE program that even parents would benefit from! Link is below!

And while we were at Energize Conference a few weekends ago, Miss Alyssa, Miss Chealse and Miss Michelle all earned their Passport to Dance Certificate of Excellence. This training was designed for educators of preschool aged dancers.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

  • Tuition gets processed with the credit card on file on the 25th of the month, August-March.

  • Makeup classes are allowed and encouraged!

    • We know life sometimes gets in the way of dance class, so feel free to make up any missed classes at your convenience within 30 days of the missed class.

    • Check out the schedule on our website for class options (CAN be a different style)

    • Please note: Make up classes are NOT allowed March-May, as each class is busy working on their recital dances.

What do we need to wear for class?

  • While we don't have a super strict dress code, we do need our students to wear appropriate dance clothing and shoes to class.

  • Below is a dress code guide to help get you started.

  • The main things we need to see in class:

    • Proper dance shoes for the style of class they are taking.

    • Hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun so it's out of their face.

    • Tighter fitting clothing (with the exception of hip hop) so we can see their alignment and offer corrections.

Where can I get dance wear or dance shoes?

  • We LOVE our friends over at Ballera Dance in Brookfield. They will help get you expertly fitted to ensure your dancer has the best dance experience.

  • You can also shop online, just note sizing may be tougher.

How do I know where to go that first week?

  • We got you! Stop by the front desk and ask for help. Or you can also see the sign on the corner of the counter that lists every class and which room it will be in.

  • In your parent portal it will also show the room, just please note that could change slightly between now and when class starts or throughout the year if needed.

    • Parent portal link is at the top of every email AND can be found on our website.
