A NOTE FROM MISS KATE:

In 2 days, we start what we consider the BEST weekend of the year...RECITAL WEEKEND!

To some, it may not seem like a big deal. But we've been working on recital since last summer! (Fun fact: we already started planning next year's recital last month!). The dancers have been working on these specific dances for the past 3 months.

Some will be taking the stage for the very first time...others for their final time. Regardless of where they are on their dance journey, we are honored to be a part of it and can't wait to celebrate everyone this weekend.

This wraps up our 17th Season and I speak on behalf of the entire LDC team when I say thank you. We are so lucky to get to do this with you all. We don't take that for granted.

See below for some recital weekend reminders and tips! I will send one final reminder email on Friday that will include the digital program link and sneak peek at the pre show video done by one of our super talented LDC alum!

RECITAL is THIS WEEKEND!!!

We pride ourselves on running an organized recital. We've been working on recital 2025 since LAST SUMMER!! It truly is like planning a wedding every year. Our team is full of rockstars and we all put in a LOT of effort to make sure recital looks effortless. So read through the recital information, but then relax and let us work our magic.

TICKET STATUS AS OF WED 5/28 MORNING:

• Friday 7pm show: less than 20 tickets left

• Saturday 10am show: SOLD OUT!

• Saturday 1pm show: less than 100 tickets left

• Saturday 4pm show: less than 50 tickets left

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR COSTUMES, TIGHTS AND SHOES READY!

• Take some time to get everything prepped for the weekend!!

• Make sure you have ALL of your items and NAMES are on everything!

SEE SHOW DAY & "FIRST TIME FAQ" PAGES ON RECITAL WEBSITE:

• First time doing an LDC recital? We know it feels like a lot, but check out the 2 pages on our recital website for more details.

• Check in your dancer 30 minutes before the show starts!

IN MULTIPLE SHOWS ON SATURDAY?? PRE ORDER LUNCH!:

• The Cousins Food Truck will be back again (woo hoo!!) and be offering an easy way to get fed between shows.

• They will be parked in the parking lot outside the front entrance. It's going to be a beautiful day for a picnic between shows!

• Pre order cold subs for quicker service. And they will also have hot food made to order!!

• Deadline to pre-order is today!!

DID YOU PRE-ORDER YOUR DANCER A SPECIAL GIFT?:

• Stop by the "merch table" in the theater lobby to pick your gift(s) up BEFORE the show.

• Get your dancer checked in and then swing by to pick it up.

• We will have a small batch of flowers and cool LDC pennants available for purchase if you forgot to pre-order a gift. (Proceeds from those will go towards our special needs non-profit, Darby's Dancers!)

2025/2026 SCHEDULE!!!

We can't wait for season 18 (Miss Chealse's 10th anniversary!!). It's going to be another awesome year of:

REMINDERS

Registration is now OPEN in your parent portal!

Many of the camps and classes are close to being full and already closed, so don't miss out!

**If you were on a summer team "waiting list", you will be moved into the official team class, if approved, this week.

Team tuition will be processed at that time.
