Sorry for the slight delay in sending this...my day got away from me! #MayIsCrazy

Can you believe that this week is our final week of regular classes?! NEXT week we have our in studio dress rehearsal week! So dancers should wear/bring their recital costumes. We will turn the white and blue studios into dressing rooms (viewing windows covered of course!) and the dancers will run their dances for each other in the black studio, take a class photo in the red studio and make sure everyone knows where the hair accessories go, etc. It's a super fun week and we can't wait!!

Looking for a special way to honor your performer? Give them a shout out in our digital program! They love seeing their photo and special words from their family and friends.

Save time and brain power on recital Saturday and pre-order lunch! Cousins subs will be back with their food truck and we are so grateful for a yummy, healthy lunch option right at the venue!

** RECITAL TICKET SALES **

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO READ!!

Ticket sales opened yesterday and the 4 shows are close to 75% full already. So if you have not ordered your tickets yet, make sure you do so. Sales open back up on Saturday to the public with no limit, so don't miss out!

Subject line: Liberty Dance Center - Priority seating code for upcoming shows

• Save that email! That email has your personalized 5 digit code that you will NEED to input in order to buy your recital tickets. There is also the link to the ticketing site and it lists your initial ticket limit.

  • Reminder: There is an initial ticket limit of 4 per FAMILY, per SHOW.

  • Make sure you check the show assignments on the recital website main information chart to ensure you buy tickets for the CORRECT show.

  • The 5 digit code get inputted on the ticket site HOME PAGE. You do NOT put it in again on the payment page (do not put it in the 4 digit coupon code box).

• Ticket sales will re-open with NO code/limit on Saturday 5/17 at 9am.

TICKET STATUS AS OF WED 5/14 MORNING:

• Friday 7pm show: less than 200 tickets left

• Saturday 10am show: less than 200 tickets left

• Saturday 1pm show: about 300 tickets left

• Saturday 4pm show: less than 300 tickets left

The code can be shared with family members...so if you are divorced or have family members buy their own after you buy yours, they can use the code as long as your limit hasn't been used.

• Example: You buy 2 of the 4 tickets, then someone else can use your code to buy the other 2 remaining.

In Studio Dress Rehearsal 5/19-5/24

• Come to your NORMAL class day/time

• Wear or bring your recital costume...you will wear those your whole class time

  • White and blue studios will become dressing rooms to change and put your bags (do not leave your dance bags in the hallway please!)

• Do your hair (and makeup up, if you'd like)

• We will run the dances each hour in the black room, performing for the other classes. We will also run the finale dance a few times.

• We will go over accessories and their placement too!

• We will snap a class photo of every class and post on our social media pages!

  • In an effort to have all of the kids look at the camera, we ask that parents do NOT come into the photo room when we are taking the class photo. Thank you!!!

• Will be fun, we can't wait!!!

Busy night at LDC this Sunday

We can't wait to rehearse our specialty recital dances AND get to chat and dance with the dancers that are interested in joining the LDC competition team next season.

REMINDERS

COSTUME ALTERATIONS!

If you brought in a costume(s) to alterations, stop by the front desk to see if it's ready for you!

BIG shout out to Miss Jan, Miss Kate's talented mama, and she spent MANY hours working on these. So grateful for her talents and passion to help!

SHOE REMINDER:

Make sure your dancer has the CORRECT color AND style shoes for recital. Our borrow shoe bins have been put away for the remainder of the season. The dancers need to have their own shoes to use for class and for recital. Thanks!!!
