A NOTE FROM MISS KATE:

We are having SO much fun this week!! It's SPIRIT week and we are going BEACH THEMED in honor of our recital theme and excitement for summer! Be sure to snap a pic by the backdrop in the lobby and tag us...we'd love to see!

The dancers are also starting to learn the FINALE dance. This is the most exciting part of recital when ALL of the performers come back out at the end and dance and take their final bow. BIG shout out to our Ballet H dancers who made up the dance for us this year!

Best of luck to our competition team and they travel to Green Bay this weekend for their final (how can that be already!) competition of the season. We know they will rock it as they always do. It will be bittersweet for our graduating seniors, but we are so grateful for their leadership and example that we have had throughout the years!

Happy early Mother's day to our dance mamas, "like a second mama", aunts and grandmas! We hope you have the BEST day that you deserve. Thank you for all that you do!

Make sure to stop by the table in the lobby and show your teachers some love for Teacher Appreciation week! I know I'm biased, but we have the best of the best working with our students! They care deeply and are so talented too!

** RECITAL TICKET SALES **

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO READ!!

Monday 5/5 you were sent an email from Dance Recital Ticketing with your personalized ticket sale information. The email was sent to the main email address on your studio account. The subject line to search for is:

Liberty Dance Center - Priority seating code for upcoming shows

• Save that email! That email has your personalized 5 digit code that you will NEED to input in order to buy your recital tickets. There is also the link to the ticketing site and it lists your initial ticket limit.

  • Reminder: There is an initial ticket limit of 4 per FAMILY, per SHOW.

  • Make sure you check the show assignments on the recital website main information chart to ensure you buy tickets for the CORRECT show.

• Ticket sales open tonight at 6pm CST for graduating seniors only.

• Ticket sales open studio wide (with code and limit) on Tuesday 5/13 at 9am CST.

• Ticket sales will re-open with NO code/limit on Saturday 5/17 at 9am.

Please look for that email NOW (or by Friday 5/9 at the latest) and let us know if you do not see it and we will have it resent.

The code can be shared with family members...so if you are divorced or have family members buy their own after you buy yours, they can use the code as long as your limit hasn't been used.

• Example: You buy 2 of the 4 tickets, then someone else can use your code to buy the other 2 remaining.

COSTUME ALTERATIONS!

Reminder: Miss Jan, Miss Kate's very talented mom, is here this week to do FREE costume alterations!

TEEN LYRICAL DANCERS: Remember to bring in your costume as those pants are REALLY long!!

Need a strap tightened? Miss Jan will get you all set!

SHOE REMINDER:

Make sure your dancer has the CORRECT color AND style shoes for recital. Our borrow shoe bins have been put away for the remainder of the season. The dancers need to have their own shoes to use for class and for recital. Thanks!!!

Candy Cups are made to order by our competition team dancers! But you must order by 5/25!!

**Reminder there will be special tokens hidden in 4 of the candy cups with bonus prizes (free private lesson, tuition credit and LDC gear)!**

**In the event we get a big influx of orders and run out before we process yours (will process in the order they are received), we will email you to let you know and see if you would like to switch to a different option. **

As we head into May, let's have some extra fun!!

The dancers and teachers have been working SO hard, let's pretend we're dancing at the beach next week!

Think bright colors, Hawaiian shirts, sunglasses, etc!

Obviously, don't go too literal! No wearing just a swimsuit please :)
