A NOTE FROM MISS KATE:

BRR...it's cold out there! But we will keep the dancers nice and warm this week as it's the week we are starting to learn our recital dances!! The teachers are pumped to use their talents and creativity to showcase the dancers and make them shine. They will learn their dances over the next 4-5 weeks and then we still have 2 months after that to make them stage ready. So trust the process. Record the dance if needed to practice with at home. And remind your dancers it's ok and normal and expected for them to not "get it" right away. We have lots of time to work on them!

Reminder, each class has their own unique choreography and formations, so make up classes are no longer allowed. We find it is too confusing for the dancers (both the class and the dancer doing the makeup). Thank you for understanding!

Dancers that take Wednesday night classes, feel free to wear your red/white/pink tonight since you didn't get to last week due to the snow storm!

HAVEN'T PICKED UP YOUR COSTUME(S) YET?

Be sure to ask for them the next time you are in. And most importantly, TRY THEM ON (either at LDC or right away when you get home). If anything fits too small, we need to know ASAP so we can figure out a solution.

RECITAL TEES!!

HOW CUTE ARE THESE?! These tees make for a great memento for the dancers! They love to wear them for years to come (and make for a special graduation tee shirt blanket when they graduate!)

Deadline to order is SATURDAY MARCH 1.

We have sample sizes at the front desk area (on the slat wall). Feel free to try on a sample to make sure you order the right size! Click the green button to see the google form below for more details!

10 & 15 year dancers...make sure you fill this form out (even if not ordering a recital tee). I have a special tee coming just for you!

LDC TEAM SHOWCASE WAS AMAZING!

Thank you to all that came to our Team Showcase on Sunday. WOW, the dancers and choreography were SO good. The talent and passion was unreal. And we are so proud of the dancers and the teachers that work with them each week.

Good luck to our competition team as they take the competitive stage for the first time this season on Friday and Saturday at Applause Talent Competition in Oak Creek!

Did you know...

We have 3 teams: Sparkle Squad (ages 5-9), Performing Company (ages 8-18) and Competition Team (ages 11-18). Interested in joining one next season? Stay on the lookout as information will be coming out in the next month or so!

FUN STUFF, MARK YOUR CALENDARS:

4 WEEK DAYTIME SESSION: Next Thursday, 2/27, another 4 week session of our "move WITH me" (adult/tot) class starts. You can register HERE in your parent portal. The class is 9:30am-10am and runs 2/27-3/20.

10/15 YEAR DANCERS: Don't forget to upload your headshot (see email that was sent 1/18/25). Please do so by 3/1 at the latest! We can't wait to celebrate you and your dedication to dance and LDC! Thank you to those that have done this already...only have a few, so keep them coming. Any issues uploading? Just send them to Miss Kate via email or upload HERE.

LOOKING AHEAD: Spring Break is coming...we are closed Sunday 3/23-Sunday 3/30.

REMINDERS &

DID YOU KNOW?

PARKING LOT: The city confiscated our sign by the sidewalks the other day, so until we can get an official city approved street sign, a reminder for everyone. Please keep the area by the sidewalk/mailbox CLEAR. This allows parents to circle the court, pull up and let their dancer out directly to the sidewalk and avoid the parking lot during those super busy hours. But if cars are parked right in front of the sidewalk, that sadly doesn't work. Thank you for your cooperation!

RUNNING: The lobby running had definitely been better lately. Please continue to help us out with that. We don't want anyone to get hurt running and colliding with someone!
