Busselton Water joins forces with Connected Futures for the next LEEF cohort
We're delighted to share that Busselton Water has come on board as a partner of Connected Futures, supporting the next intake of the LEEF Program — our regional initiative empowering women across leadership, entrepreneurship, emotional resilience and financial independence.
The pilot cohort wrapped up with results that speak for themselves. Thirteen regional women took part in workshops, mentoring and co-working access at The SET in Vasse, and every single participant rated the program four or five stars.
All participants said LEEF helped reduce feelings of isolation, 75% took up new work, training or volunteering opportunities since starting, and most reported feeling more confident pursuing new opportunities by the program's end.
Participants described the experience as "life-changing" and "exactly what I needed at this stage of my life," with new businesses launched, business or career pivots made, and lasting friendships formed along the way.
With that kind of momentum behind us, we're excited to build on the pilot's success — and Busselton Water's support will help make that possible for the next cohort of regional women.
We're calling for more partners. LEEF Expressions of Interest opens in August, and we're inviting other organisations who share our commitment to regional women's empowerment to join us. Take a look at our sponsorship opportunities here: Sponsorship Flyer
