Dear Parents and Volunteers

We hope that you have had another enjoyable season. Thank you for those who attended the End Of Season party and we hope you had a great time even though the weather wasn’t kind to us!

Changes to the RFC Exec

After taking various Exec roles for the last 16 seasons, Wendy expressed a desire to step down from Exec duties at the end of last season, but agreed to stay on as Chair to give us some time to find and appoint a replacement.

We are delighted to announce that Spence Ogilvie has stepped into this role. Spence has over 30 years of experience with grassroots football and we are excited to work with Spence and use his experience to help us build and expand the club going forwards.

After a number of years in the role, Helena Biggs is also stepping down as the Priory Park fixtures coordinator now that her son has passed through the U18 age group.

We want to thank both Wendy and Helena for their service to the club and welcome Spence into his new role.

The full list of Exec members after these changes and their associated teams and 2026/7 age groups is as follows:

  • Spence Ogilvie (Chair)

  • Stuart Stevens (Secretary)

  • James Charlton (Treasurer) - U15 Dragons

  • Rob Taylor (Welfare Officer) – U16 Royals & U13 Renegades

  • Sean Adams (Kit / Equipment) – U12 Spartans, U17 Sidewinders

  • Steve Saunders (Web)

  • Nikki Linham – U10 Griffin/Phoenix

  • Jo Leatham – U11 Rays

  • James Varah – U11 Rays

A message from Spence, our new Chair

I’m really excited to be working alongside the existing Executive Committee to help lead the club forward.

Reigate FC is one of the last true youth football clubs where the community remains at the heart of everything we do. The passion of our volunteers, coaches, parents and players is what makes this club so special, and I’m looking forward to helping build on those strong foundations for the future.

Introducing our new Community Football School for children aged 3-6

We are pleased to announce the creation of our new community football school for children aged 3-6. The school will run on Saturday mornings from 9-10am. If you are interested or know anyone else who would be, please contact Spence at chair@reigatefc.co.uk for more details.

2026/27 Player Registrations – Please Complete By 10th July 2026

All players, both new and existing, must register with the club using our online form on our website. It is mandatory for all players to complete the registration process to be eligible to play next season.

To complete the registration, the subs must be paid and photos and ID provided if they are required. See below for more details.

Subs for the 2026/27 Season

Subs for age groups U7 and above for the upcoming season remain unchanged at £230. Subs must be paid in full or an alternative payment plan agreed with the Club Treasurer before a player can be registered with the league.

If you are looking to pay the subs by instalments, you must first agree the amounts and timing of each payment with the Club Treasurer (james.charlton@ssq.com) and should aim to have the final instalment paid by the end of September 2026.

Payments should be made to the Club bank account.

  • Account name : Reigate Football Club

  • Sort code: 30-96-26

  • Account: 37666968

When making the payment, please use the following reference format: Surname, next season's age group, and team (if known). For example, SMITH U10 GRIFFIN.

Important Reminders:

  • All new players and those moving to U10, U12, U16 must supply a player photo (head and shoulders) to their team manager. A photo taken by a mobile phone is acceptable.

  • New players to the Club must provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate to their team manager for age verification. Additionally, an FA account must be established with a linked parent for all children below the age of 16. Once you have completed registration on the club website and had a team confirmed, you will receive an email from the FA asking you to create your FA account and link it to your child’s.

NEW Kit Shop

We are excited to announce that we have joined forces with Profount to supply our playing kits as well as other branded training options – with more merchandise coming soon. You can purchase the kit from our club shop.

Competitive age groups (U12+) will require numbered shirts, so please wait for confirmation from your team manager before purchasing any new kit. If you are playing for an U11 team and require a new shirt we also recommend that a number is added and so please get confirmation from your team manager.

If any players have out grown their current shirts and would like to recycle them for others to use in the Club, please pass them to our kitman Sean (this can be via your team manager) and we will pass onto the younger teams.

Volunteers Needed

Reigate FC is a volunteer-run football club, and we rely on the generosity of parent volunteers to provide football to over 200 children. We are always on the lookout for more volunteers to help us out. If you are interested in getting involved, please speak to your team manager, one of the Exec or contact us at info@reigatefc.co.uk.

Reminder : Red/Yellow Cards – payment of fines

Whilst players receiving cautions during matches are fairly rare, they do happen – particularly at the older age groups. If a player receives a red or yellow card, this will be accompanied by a corresponding fine issued by the FA (and a player suspension following a red card).

Once a fine has been confirmed by the FA, the player concerned will not be eligible for selection for their team until that fine has been paid into the RFC bank account.

Thank you for your support throughout the season. We wish you all a fantastic summer.

The RFC Exec:

Spence, Stuart, Nikki, Sean, Steve, Jo, Rob, James and James.
