A Prayer for Accountability and Transparency

Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, acknowledging my need for accountability in my walk with You. You have called me to live in truth, to walk in the light, and to be surrounded by brothers in Christ who sharpen me as iron sharpens iron. Yet, Lord, I confess that my heart often resists transparency. Fear, pride, and shame tempt me to hide my struggles instead of bringing them into the light of Your grace.

But I know, Lord, that true freedom is found in You. Your Word declares that confession leads to healing and that walking with trusted ....

Verses for Reflection

“...As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.....”

Proverbs 27:17

“...And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching....”

Hebrews 10:24-25

“...Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. ”

The Necessity of Accountability

Accountability is a cornerstone of Christian growth and transformation. It is a relationship where we are transparent about our past, present, and future, understanding that hidden pasts often define us and pull us away from God’s best. These pasts need reconciliation, and forgiveness—both received and given—leads to freedom. When we fail to reconcile our past, we often develop distorted thinking, what some call "stinkin' thinkin'," which prevents us from fully living in the present. Yet, it is in the present that God moves and works in our lives. It is in the present that we seek God first with our accountability comrades which allows us the best present and a hopeful future....

C3: Courage. Conviction. Community.

Connect to Men.

Connect to God.

Connect to mission.

C3 is the doorway to meeting men for an hour a week.

Every week, we conduct large gathering of men that meet together with groups of 3 or 4 to be encouraged as they live their life to the marketplace.

Introducing C3 Groups by CBMC

C3 Groups target connecting 30-40 men. The goal is 5 locations throughout OC for a spiritual “cup of spiritual coffee” to start your day. These are Christian business men who gather weekly. Participants join as often as matches their availability, fostering spiritual growth and professional development. These groups are designed to help you integrate your faith into every aspect of your life, especially in the marketplace.
