My heart is full and my head is still spinning from the incredible energy at our recent Nonprofit Launch Celebration! Having over 200 people register to learn about the future of Adoption Mosaic, to celebrate, and to stand in shared belief of what is possible, was deeply moving. Moments like this remind me why our work matters so much and why community is at the center of everything we do.

I also want to pause to give a huge, heartfelt Thank You to our incredible team of 25 people who help keep this organization going. This work is not done alone. It is built through collaboration, care, late nights, hard conversations, creative ideas, and deep commitment. I am endlessly grateful for each person who shows up for this work and for our community.

As we look ahead, I am feeling more hopeful than ever about what is possible for Adoption Mosaic. We are continuing to grow our adoptee-centered programs, expand education that challenges the status quo, and build spaces where honest conversations about adoption, identity, belonging, and loss can happen with care and integrity. Our vision remains clear, to shift the narrative beyond the rainbows and unicorns and center those most impacted by adoption, the adoptee.

The next We the Experts is Saturday, December 13th! Centering adoptees who, as children, have experienced the juvenile justice system or any out-of-home placements after adoption.
