Susan is a hilarious comedian who does brilliant one-liners. I'm a sycophant who tries to glam on to her budding fame at every chance I get! "You're great, Susan." "Nice gams, Susan". Etc, etc. Whatever it takes to stay in her good graces, as she has promised to mention me in her will...not leave me anything, but at least mention my name, which would still be cool I think. "Chris gets nothing!"
Anyway, over the years, Susan has become delusional. She lives in a giant old mansion off of Sunset with a monkey and an old butler who used to be her director. I am a hack writer trying to steal a car. Now she has trapped me into living in her old palace and helping her regain the fame she lost when the talkies came in. Under my pseudonym Morty Applebaum, we are recording screen tests for SOB Pictures. Susan is still big! It's the pictures that have gotten small...or some other crazy crap that she says. She's nuts!
