NFL WEEK 12

It's amazing that when your team is losing the season seems endless, and when they win, it is over in the blink of an eye...

They are not winning. 😢

    • Sam opens a string of Happy Days-themed restaurants called D-Arnolds that are a hit. But that can wait for retirement. Seahawks big!

    • "Lin Elliott" Butker misses 3 kicks for this year's version of the 1995 Chiefs, and they fall to the Colts 10-7. OUCH!!!

    • JJ to JJ is No Way once again. I predict it will only snow in Green Bay when the Vikings have the ball and they lose by 13.

    • Lamar Jackson vs Justin Fields would have made a great Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in 2018. Now it is just a regional game on CBS...chicken fingers not included.

    • All the drama... who will it be? Coffee shops better be having fun with an incredibly obvious Pick Your Joe promo... Doesn't matter who starts. Bengals win.

    • Jaxson Dart is fresh from homecoming with your girlfriend and he's ready to take on musical prodigy Jared Goff. Goff goes Poindexter on the violin to get some Revenge for the Nerds and the Lions defeat Ted McGinley and the jocks 24-10.

    • Shedeur Sanders to start at QB for the Browns. Maxx Crosby to start at DE for the Raiders. Hello Mr. Sanders. Nice to meet you...all game long.

  • SUN | JAGUARS @ CARDINALS | PICK: CARDINALS

    • The city of Jacksonville reaches a new cultural zeitgeist when they lose to the Cardinals in the world's least important game.

  • SUN | EAGLES @ COWBOYS | PICK: COWBOYS

    • In the Battle of America's Most Arrogant Cities, the Cowboys prevail...196-13. Ken Burns is forced to make part 2 of his new American Revolution documentary where Philly revolts and the other states let them go.

    • Would I rather watch this game or Quarterback on Netflix to get my Kirk Cousins fiX??? My guess is neither. Kirk fills his thermos with Christmas Cocoa and the Falcons win.

    • Aaron Rodgers catches up with Papa Bear Hallas in the pre-game, swapping war stories-- literal war stories about Woodrow Wilson and the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. Steelers prevail 2-0.

    • Bucs have to have this one. Rams employed Baker for about 7 minutes 3 years ago so he knows how they think. Baker plans a flag at SoFi. Give me the Bucs!

  • MON NIGHT | PANTHERS @ 49ERS | PICK: 49ERS

    • This game is gonna be fun to see how many times Bryce Young throws the ball backwards on accident. Purdy fights off Mac Jones and keeps on winning.

THE SHOW I AM WATCHING

I am not a huge TV watcher, but this caught my eye over the last week...

American Revolution

I totally understand that watching PBS makes me a communist in certain circles, but I can't help it! I love slow moving documentaries, and I don't care if Ken Burns is a Soviet spy! The fact that Ken Burns makes his movies on iMovie using the Ken Burns Effect is why I love him. As always, this six part miniseries is full of things I'm not sure I ever needed to know but I guess I am glad I do. Watch out holiday cocktail parties--I am coming loaded with fresh knowledge!

THING I BOUGHT

The Hatch Belt

Again, I make no money for telling you things I bought. Hell, I don't even know if you have a bad back or not! But I do, and this thing is awesome! My friend Susan, who is also this week's Comedian You Should Know told me to pick this infrared massager belt up and it has been doing wonders.

Most of you know I had a double discectomy 2 weeks ago, and I just started my PT this week, which means I have been a bit sore. This belt has been a lifesaver for the recovery while I watch some PBS in shame...😄

BTW...I went ahead and did the modeling work for this picture and gave them my image and likeness for free so you are welcome Hatch! 😂😂😂

COMEDIAN TO KNOW: SUSAN WARE

Susan is the funniest person I know in Los Angeles. She is a brilliant writer and her delivery is second to none. She and I have a book coming out in a few weeks called Dead Jokes. Watch for more on that soon. In the meantime enjoy this recent set she did last weekend at The Ice House.
