Celebrating 5 years in business!

Greetings, friend!

Cozy October greetings to you! Lori and I are welcoming a new month by hosting Birth Lab this Saturday with 6️⃣ expecting mamas! This is a 2 hour birth prep class where they'll learn about how the baby navigates through the pelvis, how to use movement to facilitate it, important exercises to do prenatally and in the early days postpartum, and tips to improve the experience. This class is completely full [so grateful to do this work!] but will you please reply to this email if you are interested in future Birth Labs?! Let us know what you're looking for!

Did you know that Uprise Pelvic Health is FIVE years old this month? I came to this community with my little family, site unseen, with a dream to help improve the pelvic healthcare of this community. You welcomed us with love, curiosity, support, and love.

But our work isn't done! As always, thank you for walking on this journey with us, for showing up, and trusting us with your care. 🥂Cheers to the next 5!

🎁To continue the celebration, keep scrolling for a little thank you gift!

P.S. I'm launching something!

Okay, so… I’ve been working on something that I’m really freaking excited about. I kept thinking about this weird gap between being in a physical therapy appointment and trying to figure your body out on your own. I kept finding myself wishing there was something in between.

A place where we could talk about the pelvic floor, the nervous system, pain, hormones, emotions, all of it… without everything needing to be turned into a diagnosis or another thing to “fix.” Somewhere we can learn some anatomy, have real conversations, move, breathe, explore the emotional and energetic side of being in a body, ask the awkward questions, and just… exhale a little. All with the guidance of a trusted provider in your pocket, but without the price tag of ongoing one-on-one care.

So I made one. The Root Trust Practice Room is a monthly virtual gathering for exactly that. It’s part education, part embodied practice, part conversation, part community and hopefully a place where you can start feeling a little more at home in your body. 🤍

The waitlist is currently open! Click the link below to get added 😊

Are You Being Proactive?

You know that feeling when you’ve actually prepared for something ahead of time? You’ve checked the boxes, done the very best you can, and instead of scrambling at the last minute, you can breathe a little easier knowing you’ve set yourself up well!

It feels GOOD, doesn’t it? There’s something so reassuring about knowing you’ve been proactive instead of waiting until you’re forced to react.

🚪This is the same feeling we want you to have inside our doors.🚪

You don’t have to wait until you’re leaking, in pain, feeling pressure, or thinking, “Okay, something definitely isn’t right,” to come see us.

Sometimes, we get in our heads that physical therapy is something we do after there’s a problem. But, it can be incredibly valuable before symptoms start really impacting your life or even before they begin!

We don't believe your body is working against you.

Maybe you’re pregnant and want to prepare your body for birth. Maybe you’ve had a baby and things feel mostly fine, but you want to make sure you’re rebuilding strength and returning to exercise safely. Maybe you’ve started noticing a little leakage when you play with your kids, some heaviness, constipation, hip or back pain, or changes as you move through perimenopause.

Those little changes are worth paying attention to.

At Uprise, we want you to feel empowered to understand your body before something becomes a bigger issue. An evaluation gives us a chance to look at how your pelvic floor, core, hips, breathing, strength, mobility, and the rest of your body are working together!

Think of pelvic floor PT as part of taking care of yourself, not just something you turn to when you're struggling.

😘 P.S. As always, it's never too late. See you soon, k?

Get me on the schedule!

Birthday Month Celebrations!

We'll be offering a different special or event each week in October! This week we're offering $50 off any service at Uprise for the first 10 people to reply and tell us how Uprise has impacted your life! Hurry! Offer ends October 9!

💡Did you know?

“Tight” doesn’t always mean you need to stretch more. If your hips, hamstrings, or low back always feel tight, your body may actually be compensating for weakness, instability, or tension somewhere else. That’s why we look at the whole body at Uprise.
