Young Minds, Big Ideas: Elementary School C-STEM Robotics Showdown

On May 17th, Windsor Village Elementary hosted its first-ever C-STEM Robotics Competition, and it was a great success! The event featured 5 teams with a total of 15 students from 3rd and 5th grade showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

A special thank you to the lead coach Ms. Cesia Medina and her co-teachers, Ms. Magdalena Valle and Ms. Alba Cruz, who spearheaded the event and guided their students through the competition with dedication and enthusiasm.

We’re proud to have supported Windsor Village in launching this exciting new STEM initiative and look forward to seeing it grow even more in the future!

Summer Camps Encourage Summer STEM Learning

For the second consecutive summer, C-STEM is partnering with the YMCA of Greater Houston to deliver engaging, hands-on, project-based STEM learning experiences for K–8th grade campers at Houston ISD Sunrise Centers. The camps will be held at the Mission Milby and Baker Ripley Connect YMCA Sunrise Center locations.

Join us June 24 and 26 at Baker Ripley Connect (Mission Milby locations will be announced soon).

C-STEM is proud to announce its new traveling exhibit honoring 400 Years of African American History and Culture and its interconnectedness to STEM. The exhibit will open September 27th at the African American Research Center at the Gregory Campus.
