WHAT IS A HEALTHY BATHROOM?

A healthy bathroom isn’t just created by cleaning and scrubbing, it's about  preventing problems before they grow. Small issues (like failing caulk or a slow faucet drip) become big, expensive repairs over time. If your wood baseboards/moulding are swelling or rotting, swap them for a tile base. It looks clean, is water-resistant, and helps keep moisture where it belongs.

BATHROOM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

Seal & Caulk: Inspect and refresh caulk at tubs, showers, and splash zones; re-grout or seal grout as needed.

Stop Leaks Early: Check under sinks, at valves, and around the toilet for moisture or staining.

Ventilation Matters: Run a properly sized fan 20–30 minutes after showers to control humidity.

Fixtures & Traps: Tighten loose fittings; replace worn flappers, supply lines, and p-traps before they fail.

Surfaces: Replace compromised wood trims with tile base; touch up or repaint moisture-rated finishes.
