As a valued member of our local business community, I am reaching out to you on behalf of the Blackfalds & District Chamber of Commerce to share a heartfelt plea for your involvement.

Our community is at a pivotal moment, facing both unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The Blackfalds & District Chamber of Commerce, plays a vital role in steering the course of our local business environment, and now, more than ever, we need dedicated individuals like you to join the Blackfalds Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

We find ourselves in a situation where the need for passionate advocates for our local businesses has never been greater. The success and vibrancy of our community depend on the collective efforts of individuals willing to invest their time, energy, and expertise. The Chamber's Board of Directors is the driving force behind the initiatives that propel our community forward, and your unique perspective and talents can make a significant difference.

 We understand that commitments are numerous, and time is a precious commodity. However, we want to emphasize that the commitment required is minimal compared to the potential impact it can have on our community. Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm, offering the flexibility of both in-person and virtual attendance. Your involvement, no matter how small, will contribute to the collective strength of our community. 

Our next AGM is in May of 2024 where will need to vote in the new Executive. We have several current Executive Members whom can not stay in their current positions. We urge you to come to our next monthly meeting and see if you think joining the Blackfalds Chamber might be the right fit for you. 

Thank you for considering this plea for volunteers. Your dedication to the success of our community means the world to us, and we are hopeful that you will heed this call to action.

Reminder to Cash in your Blackfalds Bucks!

• They are cash equivalent and can be redeemed only at business participating in the Passport to Christmas.

•  Treat them like cash and give real cash back if the purchase is less than the buck amount.

•  Contact us for reimbursement of the bucks. We generally give cash for amounts less than $200 and a cheque if over that.

Where to redeem:
