Challenging the Narrative
The school yard bully, Joe, reigns supreme in the schoolyard and the lunchroom. He beats up and bullies hapless victims at will. He takes his pick of the lunch box treats. The rest of the kids stand by. They are just grateful that they are not in his cross hairs.
Eventually some random little guy, Randy, plucks up the courage, stops hiding in the corner, hoping he won’t’ be spotted, turns and faces Joe. He looks Joe in the eye and says, “No. If you want my lunch, you’re going to have to fight me tooth and nail. You’re not having it”. An uneasy quiet descends on the lunchroom. No one has ever challenged Joe. Everyone knows he can’t be beat. Randy doesn’t stand a chance.
Joe has no choice. He’s been challenged. If he allows this random kid to prevail, the game will be over. Joe reaches for Randy's lunch box. Randy puts it behind his back and stands his ground. Joe glances sideways, the other kids are starting to murmur. He hesitates. Just then Paulo quietly steps up in front of Randy and says, “if you want his lunch, you’re going to have to beat us both Joe”. Joe, looks around uncertainly. Susi steps up alongside Paulo and says, “Joe, you can’t ever take anyone else’s lunch again. We won’t let you”. A murmur of approval rises up around the room.
Joe is beaten. He knows it and the rest of the room knows it. He slinks away. The lunch room becomes a happy place again. A couple of the other guys, take pity on Joe, invite him to their table and they become regular lunchroom buddies. Everyone wins. The End.
If only life were that simple. And of course, if there were more Randy’s, Paulo’s and Susi’s it might be.
Folks it’s time to change the narrative we’ve all accepted for too long. Why? So that our children, families and society at large can have a better quality of life without the destructive ideologies which are sucking the life blood out of us.
Currently Canadians are victims of a gigantic Capture the Culture bluffing game:
· Doctrinaire academics in tertiary institutions have been capturing the thinking of students with left wing social justice theories since the 1960s. Those generations of students are now in positions of influence everywhere. They are writing school curricula and setting policy at every level of government and corporation. A relative handful of people, duped themselves, have captured our culture with twisted thinking, which harms us, our families and our culture.
· And we, the hapless victims, have bought the lies. Or at least we’ve pretended to. We don’t want to be the next victim to be cancelled or worse.
It’s time to change the narrative folks. It’s time to call the bluff. The vast majority of Canadians do not believe in, nor do they want, the ideological madness that has seized our culture.
We need Randy’s, Paulo’s and Susi’s to step up. Might it cost you? Of course. But if we all step up together, we can defeat this giant of a bully who pretends he has the muscle. It’s time to call his bluff with the power of popular opinion:
· No more unelected judges overturning legislation put in place via a legitimate democratic process.
· No more Human Rights Tribunal kangaroo courts presided over by appointees put in place by the politician of the day to gain a few marginal points in the polls.
· No more indoctrination in our schools, destroying our young people’s hearts and minds.
· No more social justice lies prevailing over scientifically proven facts about our sexuality.
Will you step up? Will you do it for your own kids? For your grandkids?
