Mens Home APCGA

With Spring almost here, the new golf season will be starting in April. Why not try a very sociable and active men’s golfing group who play locally at Kippie.   We have biweekly medals here on the 9-hole course on Saturday mornings and Wednesday mornings/evenings throughout the year.

Golfers of all abilities are welcome. This Golf 9-hole Section is a great place to practice your old or newly acquired golfing skills in a safe and non-pressured environment, then make a few new friends enjoying a cup of coffee and a bacon roll afterwards.

All Kippie members are eligible to obtain an officially recognised golf handicap by submitting 6 approved cards around the 9-hole course.

The annual fee for joining, which covers registration with Scottish Golf, is just £50 for season 2025/26.  The fixture list is attached and also can be found on the notice board in the sports complex.  The list has biweekly medals plus various events including an annual match play competition, club championship and away outings, all of which are optional. We work closely with the ladies’ section and join them in several days away to local courses such as Aboyne and Ballater

John McMaster

We were delighted to host a Gothenburg Legend here at the Club on Thursday at a Q&A luncheon hosted by Assurance Leadership. As a player under the leadership of Alex Ferguson, the team won many domestic trophies as well as the European Cup & Super Cup. John shared great stories and proudly showed his medals whilst hosting a Q&A session. We will be hosting another Q&A lunch in March - date to be confirmed (watch this space).

Safety Notice

Driving Range

For the safety of all players and visitors, it is essential to use the appropriate golf club and ensure that all shots remain within the designated driving range boundaries.

Our Golf Operations Assistant has been actively monitoring play and reaching out to individuals whose shots have exceeded the boundary. However, we have noted repeat instances where players continue to hit shots that leave the range and land in the adjacent driveway. This presents a significant health and safety risk.

We kindly remind all players to adjust their club selection and shot direction to ensure that balls remain within the designated landing area. Continued failure to comply may result in further action.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
