We have just returned from the annual BNI National Convention full of inspiration and excitement. As everything in BNI, we talk about BNI, but mostly talk about growth, about Givers Gain, and about Growing Our Thriving Community!  Five of us attended the conference, and wish that so many more would have attended. Because BNI is about growing as leaders and celebrating each other.

The Power of One is our method to keep accountability. In the month of April the majority of our region has been in the Green/Yellow! That's a great achievement. Way to go! Some members have excelled in their activity and scored 100 in The Power of One.

Thank you to all who sponsored new members in the month of April! Sponsoring a new member is an opportunity to help another business owner to grow their business and develop. Inviting them to BNI can be the biggest gift that you can give.

Trinh Le of SERVPRO of Rockville-Olney is a member of BNI Capital Business Alliance and an Ambassador for our region. She also serves as Chapter Ambassador to 2 BNI chapters and holds a position in her chapter as Member Committee. 

Trinh has an extensive background in print journalism, having worked as a news reporter and editor for various newspapers. Outside of work, Trinh loves long walks, photography, books and flowers, as well as road trips and camping with her family.

Congratulations to the members who had the biggest jump in their score in the Power of One report. You are a testimony to what is possible when we focus on giving.

Member in Focus

The member in focus this month is Beth Borego - the Growth Coordinator of BNI MidCounty Connectors. 
Since the beginning of 2023, MidCounty Connectors had two visitors' days which created 11 new members and 4 more applications in process. Way to lead growth Beth! 

Beth have 25+ years experience as a small business owner. She's the owner of Cruise Planners that provide excellent travel service and help client check off their bucket list travel dreams. She is also a published author and public speaker.
