Audra met The Sweethearts (Bill Anderson, Kenna Tuggle) in 2022 in Taos, NM. They came together in another musical project and have been making beautiful music ever since. Audra Rodgers and the Sweethearts’ captivating, authentic, and heartfelt performances transport audiences to the depths of their own world and experiences. In the sweeping melodies, beautiful harmonies, and lush violin and guitar work, timeless and universal stories of love, loss, beauty, and death come to life. With elements of folk, americana, country, The Sweethearts weave genres to create original music in a style all their own.
From laughing, to crying, to getting inspired to quit their job; from waltzing, to dancing freely, to sitting in contemplation - a Sweetheart show takes the audience on a journey through the full spectrum of what it means to be alive: loving, losing, trying again, and making beautiful music along the way.
