Message: Signs You're Never Alone

Dear Ones, 

In the wake of a terrible betrayal, I decided I wasn't gonna be a victim. I'd embark on a hero's journey and completely transform my life. I'd take the tattered threads of a Miami dream and, through my own power, skills and wit (and the help of my partner George), spin them into a mission-driven existence in a new home in a new town, beautifully aligned with nature and my ideals.

Well, it's been a mission indeed. To my surprise, my high-falutin’ idea shoved me into a long dark tunnel that's challenged my patience, perseverance, fortitude and very belief in myself.

The silver lining? I absolutely know that I’m not alone on this hero’s journey. And I want you to know: neither are you.

At first I kept the panic-filled darkness at bay and found hope and calm in candle-gazing and prayer, spiritual learning, time in nature and my favorite centering practice - serving clients. That worked well, until it didn’t. Eventually I found the only way to stop the “whack-a-mole” like anxiety hits was to shrink down my life so as to direct all available energy towards my goal. I'm exhausted.

Yet I now see just enough light to begin to marvel that at each blind turn and each “no” - when I felt I simply wanted out of this difficult 3D soul school - something unusual and meaningful would come into my awareness and lift my chin.

Dragonflies swarmed the yard the day I listed the house, ephemeral creatures symbolizing a moment of destiny. I got lost and drove into a wall which led me to the perfect-potential home that had been listed that very day by a medicine woman. A snakeskin appeared in my garden when I had no buyers and felt totally blind and alone, like a snake blindly molts in order to grow.

I spotted a gray fox on a walk as I mulled over offers. My mellow real estate lawyer at the perfect time said, “In the end, it has to feel right to you.” I dreamed of a buyer bathed in golden light as she stood by my back door.

I found not one but three gorgeous peacock feathers near the house on an important contract day. And the houseplant that came from my great grandmother and the wild purple-white orchid on my tree are both suddenly blooming now  - when neither have ever bloomed in 15 years.

Lastly, several beautiful people I’ve known for ages came through for me in ways I never could have imagined when I befriended them, like when the parts magically come together at the end of a particularly well-constructed novel. 

Just enough signs and synchronicities have appeared to show divine support and keep me stumbling towards the light at the end of this really really really long tunnel.

So when you're in your own long dark tunnel - look for the signs and synchronicities that appear to help you have faith in yourself, guide your way, and remind you that on this journey of learning called life, you're never really alone.
