Coverings 2025 Recap

TCAA members made a strong impact at Coverings 2025, North America’s premier international tile and stone exhibition held in Orlando, FL. The event showcased innovation and excellence across the industry, with TCAA proudly celebrating Bourbon Tile & Marble’s double win at the CID Awards for outstanding commercial stone and tile installations. TCAA representatives also played an active role in educational sessions on workforce development, sustainable installation practices, and the use of AI in project planning, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to qualified labor and continuous learning.

Beyond recognition and education, TCAA advanced its advocacy for skilled labor and industry standards. Kevin Trevisan represented TCAA at the ANSI A108 Committee meetings, contributing to updates on substrate prep, mortar classifications, and clarity in installation standards. The organization also focused on promoting tile-setting careers and expanding apprenticeships. Building on the momentum from Coverings, TCAA looks ahead to the upcoming Chicago Tile Expo and encourages members to stay connected and engaged.
