ZAA is accepting abstract submissions for presentations and poster sessions through May 31 at 11:59 PM EDT. Don’t miss your chance to share your work with industry peers!

We invite proposals that showcase innovation, achievements, and techniques in areas including:

  • Animal care, husbandry, welfare, training, and enrichment

  • Conservation and research initiatives

  • Education and interpretation

  • Operational topics such as management, marketing, volunteer programming, and emergency preparedness

There are only 12 presentation slots available - this is a great opportunity to share your expertise, highlight your work, and contribute to meaningful dialogue across the zoological community.

Presenters and poster contributors will receive a reduced speaker registration rate. Poster presenters will be asked to submit an updated abstract by September 15, 2025.

Abstract Submission Deadline: May 31st, 2025 (11:59pm EDT)

Speakers will be notified regarding acceptance no later than July 1, 2025.
