Call for Presentation and Poster Abstracts!

ZAA is accepting abstract submissions for presentations and poster sessions at the 2025 Annual Conference, taking place October 1-4, 2025 in San Antonio, TX.

We invite proposals that showcase innovation, achievements, and techniques in areas including:

Animal care, husbandry, welfare, training, and enrichment
Conservation and research initiatives
Education and interpretation
Operational topics such as management, marketing, volunteer programming, and emergency preparedness

There are only 12 presentation slots available - this is a great opportunity to share your expertise, highlight your work, and contribute to meaningful dialogue across the zoological community.

Presenters and poster contributors will receive a reduced speaker registration rate. Poster presenters will be asked to submit an updated abstract by September 15, 2025.

Abstract Submission Deadline: May 31st, 2025 (11:59pm EDT)
