It's all go this month!

It's exactly a month since I picked up the keys to 1a The Square, Long Crendon and what a busy few weeks it has been since. My aim has been to create a comfortable, welcoming therapeutic space; a place to deliver my flavour of physiotherapy in an informal and professional way.

Opening times:

The Haven is open Monday - Saturday and I will continue to arrange appointments directly with you as before. I will have a regular Wednesday evening clinic til 8.30pm. Home Visits are still available, again booked directly with me.

Launch Party

I would love to show you my lovely therapy room, The Haven.

Feel free to bring friends and children but please note dogs are not allowed in the premises. My dog-loving children will be on hand to dog-sit outside if you do have a dog with you.

I'd be very grateful if you could help me to spread the word. Here its the link to the event page.

Dogs are very welcome on my monthly Walk & Talk Physio Clinic. It's a relaxed walk lasting 60-90 minutes depending on the ability of the group, the weather and how desperate folks are to reach the cafe at the end of the walk. everyone is welcome, feel free to bring a friend.

The list of dates are full details of time and place are on the website and Facebook page.

It's a lovely way to get moving together and stay connected between physio treatments.

This month's theme is

The Knee

In the Facebook group this month I have been sharing some do's and don't's for knee problems. I have re-run the Nifty Knees series of video tips for mobility, strength and movement control at the knee.

Coming up later in the month

  • Anterior Cruciate Ligament injuries - grades, diagnosis, treatment options

  • Osteoarthritis of the knee - what is it and what can you do about it

  • Cartilage - explain the different types and the different conditions and injuries that occur.

I will also share some useful equipment, websites and books if you have knee problems.

The Facebook group, Lisa Kerry's Physiotherapy Hub is open to everyone, not just existing clients and friends. Please feel free to share the link with your network.

If these topics interest you there this is the link to the group. I'd love to interact with you there.

Up next month

Watch out for notices on the website and Facebook page/group about an evening social in April in Thame. I am soon to be another year older so a perfect excuse for another party!

Have a lovely rest of the weekend,
