What Is It?

SUNDOWN is a groundbreaking podcast musical that brings the magic of theatre directly to listeners through Theater of the Imagination. As the music and theatre industries evolve, Theater of the Imagination is helping to lead the way in this emerging art form, opening new possibilities for artists to share their work — and for audiences everywhere to experience it.

What's It All About?

Filled with poignancy and humor, Sundown looks beyond the legend to reveal the humanity and capacity for redemption within these larger-than-life figures.

Theater Of The Imagination is helping define what musical theater can become when created for listening: work that can live on, travel the world, spark the imagination and find new audiences for generations to come.

Where Can I See This Show?

You can’t see it, but you can hear it! It’s a podcast. Best of all, you can experience it in your imagination. And just wait till you live inside the music! Ahhh, the Music! Somehow the award institutions like Billboard, and Top Ten Theatre Albums, 2004, Talkin’ Broadway.com must have thought that perhaps the show had not come into New York yet but still deserved an award. The word was out.

The title song, Sundown, sung by Steve Blanchard won the JPF Independent Music Award for Best Theatre Song, Billboard gave the song, Bridges, sung by Judy McLane its Song Of The Year award and the JPF Independent Music Award for Best Theatre Recording, went to the album, Sundown. With your help, we may even soon be able to see it in the movies!
