Listening!

Is it becoming a lost art? Often it seems like everybody’s going so fast and talking so fast, that nobody’s really listening. Everybody’s just trying to grab the mic and speak their piece. As musicians we’ve learned that 50% of making great music is in listening to each other – listening to the harmonies, listening to the rhythms, and listening to the groove. Without listening you have chaos. We have these two things on the sides of our heads. They’re called ears. They’re not much to look at, but without them the world would be a much different place.

Pay Attention!
