Chef's Mesa

Katia, the creative visionary, and Alberto, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef with over a decade of experience, are the duo behind Chef's Mesa. Together, they balance bold flavors with the finer details, ensuring every experience serves the aesthetic as the main course.

Chef’s Mesa was born from a shared love of travel and the belief that food creates the most meaningful connections. What began as a personal passion for hosting family and friends has evolved into a culinary brand dedicated to bringing people together through unforgettable experiences.

"Our Journey with Enterprising Latinas Inc.
We are incredibly grateful to Enterprising Latinas for helping us bridge the gap between passion and professional success. When we started, we had the talent, but they gave us the confidence and tools necessary to succeed in a competitive market. They helped us build on what we thought we knew and made it better. Their business plan development class was a turning point for us; they didn't just teach us business, they empowered us to own our identity as entrepreneurs."

We are truly enjoying every moment of this journey, finding purpose in every spread we create. For those sitting on an idea and waiting for the 'right' moment, our advice is simple: just start, and let your passion lead the way.

Chef’s Mesa was part of our Fall 2025 Business Development Training cohort and proudly graduated in Fall 2025 after completing our intensive eight-week program. During the final Business Plan Presentation competition, they stood out for their creativity, professionalism, and strong business vision—winning First Place and earning a cash prize award in recognition of their outstanding presentation and growth.

We are proud to see their continued growth and impact in our community.

Just like Chef’s Mesa made the decision to invest in their growth, you can too.

Annual Report Filing – Florida Businesses

If you own a business in Florida, it’s important to keep it active by filing your Annual Report with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations. The deadline to file is May 1.

Please be cautious of emails or mail that appear to come from government agencies. Many of these are third-party companies that look official and may charge $200–$300 to file on your behalf.

You can file your Annual Report yourself using the official state website. To complete the filing, you’ll need your Document Number, which can be found in the upper right corner of your Articles of Organization (LLC) or Articles of Incorporation (corporation).

The state filing fee typically ranges between $125–$150, depending on your business type.

⚠️ If the Annual Report is not filed by May 1, a $400 penalty plus late fees will apply.

👉 File directly using the official state website.

💰 Sales Tax Payments – Important Update

If your business is registered to collect and pay sales tax, please note that the payment process has recently changed.

To avoid errors or delays, we recommend reviewing the updated videos and resources that explain how to submit your sales tax payments correctly under the new process.
