🎓Celebrating Our Fall 2025 Business Development Training Graduates🎓

This January, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our Fall 2025 Business Development Training cohorts, marking the completion of an intensive eight-week journey of growth, learning, and transformation.

Entrepreneurs from both our English and Spanish cohorts came together to celebrate not only their business plans, but the courage it takes to invest in themselves, their families, and their futures. This milestone reflects what is possible when education, community, and opportunity come together.

✨To our graduates: Your courage to start, commit, and finish this journey matters. We are proud of you—keep going. ¡Sí se puede!

🗂️ Annual Report Filing – Florida Businesses

If you own a business in Florida, it’s important to keep it active by filing your Annual Report with the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations. The deadline to file is May 1.

Please be cautious of emails or mail that appear to come from government agencies. Many of these are third-party companies that look official and may charge $200–$300 to file on your behalf.

You can file your Annual Report yourself using the official state website. To complete the filing, you’ll need your Document Number, which can be found in the upper right corner of your Articles of Organization (LLC) or Articles of Incorporation (corporation).

The state filing fee typically ranges between $125–$150, depending on your business type.

⚠️ If the Annual Report is not filed by May 1, a $400 penalty plus late fees will apply.

👉 File directly using the official state website.

💰 Sales Tax Payments – Important Update

If your business is registered to collect and pay sales tax, please note that the payment process has recently changed.

To avoid errors or delays, we recommend reviewing the updated videos and resources that explain how to submit your sales tax payments correctly under the new process.
