Operation Maestra
Sarah Lovett once conveyed that if her life were to be defined by a piece of music, it would be Chopin’s “Raindrop” prelude because while it is somber and at times serious, it always returns to the same beautiful flowing melody. She observes that this song encapsulates the hardships in life and the ability to find beauty in them leading her to call herself a Romantic pianist.
Born into a Christian home, her parents had a great impact on her life. As the middle child and the only daughter in the family, her bond with her mother is very strong. Her older brother was a role model for her, and she tries to emulate his consistent work ethic. Over the years, she has grown closer with her younger brother, noting how their friendship has grown closer as they have aged.
Sarah stated that this school has increased her patience and understanding because as a part of the first full class at Concordia Academy, she found it challenging to be a pioneer in her own educational journey. Additionally, she expressed her gratitude for CAW’s faculty and staff, especially Mr. Snyder the Younger (son of Headmaster Snyder), the school’s art teacher who has taught her since 7th grade and has also been a role model for her.
Throughout her life, she has persisted in many extra-curricular activities, particularly dancing, singing in various choruses, and most notably, she has played the piano since her early childhood, and has continued to play for several competitions, even going to state for her performance. After her high school career, she plans to get married and become a mother, which she holds to be the height of a woman’s virtue. She could not imagine forsaking this righteous priority. Thus, aspiring to be a wife and mother, she wants to be remembered for these things.
Therefore, it is all the more honorable to praise and extol her as a Christian woman who is faithful to God and loves her fellow man.
