Brittany Windom
My name is Brittany Windom, and I’m proud to be part of the team here at CrossFit Fury. I’m married to my husband, Matthew Windom, and together we are raising three boys—ages 13, 12, and 7—who keep life full, loud, and fun.
My CrossFit journey began right here at Fury in 2015. What started as a member experience quickly grew into something much more. I began working in the childcare area, then moved to the front desk, earned my CrossFit Level 1 certification, and stepped into a coaching role. Over time, I completed my Level 2 certification, worked my way into managing Fury, took a step back in 2020 to focus on coaching, and am excited to be back in a management role as of March 2025.
I truly believe CrossFit Fury is a special place with the power to reach people and change lives. The community here is unlike anything else—people showing up for one another, pushing through hard days together, and celebrating even the smallest wins. I love the heart of this gym and the way our members and staff continue to rise together. Hard days don’t win when you show up to Fury, and I’m grateful to be part of a team and community that proves that every single day.
Brandi Kalafat
Hi, I’m Brandi Kalafat, and I’m proud to be a coach and part of the ownership team at CrossFit Fury. Fitness and community have been central to my life for years, and nothing makes me happier than helping people challenge themselves, grow stronger, and feel confident in what their bodies can do.
I live in Litchfield Park with my wife, Jennifer, and our two basset hounds, Elijah Blue and Mabel Grace. Family is at the heart of everything I do. We have raised two wonderful sons, Brandon (30) and Nicolas (27), and I’m especially excited to welcome Brandon’s soon-to-be wife, Tori, into our family.
My CrossFit journey began in 2010, and I was immediately drawn to the challenging workouts, competitive atmosphere, and strong sense of community that make Fury so special. I earned my CrossFit Level 1 certification in 2011 and began coaching in 2012 to give back to the community that had already given me so much. In 2017, I earned my CrossFit Level 2 certification.
I love helping athletes set goals, push limits, and train with intention—while still having fun along the way. Whether it’s encouraging someone to add a little more weight, coaching smart modifications, or leading a solid sweat session to reset both body and mind, my goal is always to meet each athlete where they are and help them feel capable and confident.
My coaching style is rooted in connection, continual learning, and an understanding of the psychology behind fitness. I strive to create an environment where every athlete feels supported, challenged, and empowered.
As an owner, I’m excited to help build CrossFit Fury as a place where people feel welcomed, empowered, and part of something bigger than themselves. I’m honored to lead, coach, and grow alongside this community as we move into the next chapter together.
Tracy Burns
My name is Tracy Burns, and I’m incredibly proud to be a coach and part of the ownership team here at CrossFit Fury. I’m married to my husband, Jordan Leonard—an avid CrossFitter and holder of a Physician’s Level One CrossFit certification since 2018. Together we’ve raised two incredible daughters, Ryan (20) and Morgan (18), who have grown up watching what it looks like to pursue passion, purpose, and community.
Professionally, I am a Certified Nurse Midwife, birth coach, childbirth educator, and the owner of Modern Day Midwife. I have spent the last 15 years training women through all stages of life, including pregnancy and postpartum, and I am certified in hormone replacement therapy and menopause care. Women’s health, strength, and longevity are at the heart of everything I do.
My CrossFit journey began right here at CrossFit Fury in 2011. Over the years, CrossFit has shaped not only how I train, but how I live. I hold a CrossFit Level Two certification and deeply believe in the CrossFit methodology and the health and wellness continuum.
What I love most about CrossFit Fury is the community. Doing hard things together builds grit, perseverance, and resilience—and those lessons carry far beyond the gym walls into every part of life. I am incredibly excited to continue coaching, growing, and helping lead CrossFit Fury into its next chapter.
