Welcome to the January edition of our newsletter!
New year new me? Well, maybe!
So happy new year but that’s probably a bit late now as we get to the end of January. New year is the time where we make plans to make this year our best year ever. We all do it. Make promises to lose weight, go to the gym etc etc but what about work? I’ll be honest I missed nearly all of my goals last year. I always look back in January and see what changes we’ve made the last 12 months. The things that are better and the things that are worse. Mainly what’s changed?
This year is no different. A lot has changed in the last 12 months but do I feel we have moved forward in the last 12 months?
But 2026 will not be like that. I get frustrated that as a business we are not progressing as I would like. To some our progress last year is impressive. As a business I want us to always be pushing forward. Create new products or solutions to our customers. To give them the best machines and the best service we possibly can. I want our customers to be amazed at what we can do for them. If this is what I measure us by then this is quite a high target. If this is where I set our goals as a business will we ever be content?
The answer of course to this is no. We will always strive to do all of these things and we will have a degree of success but the important thing is we keep trying our best with our customers at the forefront of everything we do.
With all of this in mind what are we looking to do in 2026? Well you are the first people outside of the company to hear this. This hasn’t even been mentioned on youtube yet.
This year we have redesigned the Mortar Master and should be out to potential customers quite soon. We are currently building up a stock of mini screens because we are expecting these machines to go like crazy in the spring (if you want 1 call the office to reserve a machine) We have a new screen model on the drawing board that we are hoping to launch this year. We are currently evaluating putting the mini screens on tracks to make them more mobile and open them up to the hire market (If you have an input on this idea let us know).
Bespoke project currently going through the workshop is a feeder and trommel system for removing metal swarf from aluminium profiles as well as a pallet repair system currently being drawn up for a customer. Both projects are being fully designed and built in house. Both projects will feature on our youtube channel in the coming weeks.
Whilst all this is going on we are also wading through a huge number of bespoke enquiries. We are quite hopeful that some of these will be converted in the next few weeks but I’ll tell you more about that next month.
