Hi friends,

We’re glad you’re here, reading this particular email. Know that we’ve made it short, and with lots of love, for YOU!

The whole RP crew came together to send some good news and resources your way during these turbulent, no, testing or challenging, no…  times that ignite our bravery, resilience, and creativity. We feel and share some of the pain, worry, and rage that some of you hold as we ourselves have had to shrink our team with recent changes (whether that’s AI, funding cuts, or other waves). We also feel and share some of the grit, thirst, and hope that some of you drive with to keep strengthening communities.

A few things I’m certain about though…

1) There are hundreds of marginalized communities that deserve better.

2) There are thousands of leaders and organizations working towards that.

3) Collaboration is no longer a nice thing to do but a strategy to pursue.

4) It’s our pleasure to cheer you on and our honor to lovingly push you to work more effectively and efficiently.

Now, scroll down to the goodies ;).

Invest In (YOUR) Leadership

Shout out to our newest GET Champions graduates

Cohort 3 just wrapped with heart, courage, and more clarity. We couldn’t be prouder of these 10 leaders of Gender Equity in Tech.

They now join a growing legacy of leaders who are reshaping hiring processes, shifting power within their companies, and building more equitable workplaces across Miami and beyond. This group, and our entire alumni network, is proof that gender equity is not just an ideal. It is a movement that can be led by people like you.

Give Miami Day is coming up, and we all need your help!

Save the date for November 20, when our whole community shows up to resource the organizations driving change in Miami - including us at Radical Partners 😉. As always, we’re not just fundraising - we’re championing others. Get ready to identify the 1-1000+ organizations that you’ll invest in!

We’re proud to partner with The Miami Foundation for the 8th year in a row to help organizations build stronger, more sustainable fundraising campaigns and organizational operations. Our year-round work will include campaign coaching, support on fundraising operations, and strategy sprints to strengthen how organizations show up and share their story on Give Miami Day and beyond.

Are you raising funds this year? Join us on July 31st for a session on Building an Operating Budget to clarify your numbers and set a fundraising goal rooted in what your organization truly needs.

There’s always f*ups along the way…

We’re still feeling the magic from June’s Pride Edition of Fuckup Nights Miami. Huge thanks to our bold speakers Amy Bloom, Kunya Rowley, and Nylia Zamora for sharing stories filled with honesty, humor, and humble learnings. They reminded us that failure isn’t the opposite of success—it’s part of the journey.

These gatherings prove the power of vulnerability and community. We’re building a culture where real stories and bold ideas can thrive.

📅 Mark your calendars: we’ll back on September 9th.

Build Coalitions, Always

With The Carrie Meek Foundation for civically engaged, well-resourced and resilient communities.

Across Miami-Dade, a group of 80+ bold, community-rooted leaders are working relentlessly to build safer communities. Through healing, prevention, and collective action, they’re driving change from the ground up with vital support from partners like The Carrie Meek Foundation, which launched the Supporting Safer Communities Grant Program to invest in solutions led by those closest to the work.

We were honored to support these efforts by helping participating organizations deepen their collaboration, align on shared goals, and strengthen their collective strategy, building on the leadership and vision they already bring to this work every day.

Through Neighborhood Heroes Connect.

Last June, 80+ changemakers joined us at Neighborhood Heroes Connect, a powerful day of collaboration where Capacity Seekers (Leaders and Innovators like Devin Browne, Angine Moss, and Mahlia Lindquist), Capacity Boosters (Funders), Capacity Builders (Coaches and Mentors), and Weavers (those in between, like us, who connect these groups) joined forces to rethink the future of Capacity Building in South Florida.

Grounded in research, we shared four solutions for us to collectively pursue to continue strengthening our ecosystem: Shared Services and Spaces, Tech Infrastructure(s), more Collective Impact Models, and a Culture Shift for the social impact ecosystem.

A report full of recommendations will be out by this month! Stay tuned to learn more about how to work  with us to make them happen.

A new era of Impact, Growth, and Innovation!

Luisana

"After 5 years at Radical Partners, I am excited to step in as Director of Impact! In this new role, I will continue to invest in the leadership of hundreds of organizations through our partnership with The Miami Foundation, engage locals through the 10th 10 Days of Connection, and continue to merge Human-Centered Design, data collection, and research to collectively make our communities stronger in Miami and beyond.”

Alia

“This year has been tumultuous for the for-impact ecosystem, to say the least. Amidst change and new challenges in the philanthropic sector, I’m excited to recenter my focus on creative ways to keep growing and fulfilling our mission as the Senior Director of Growth. I’ll be doubling down on securing general operating dollars through initiatives like Give Miami Day, cultivating long-term relationships with visionary funding partners, and getting creative in the way we fundraise for leadership development and community engagement programs that serve our most under-resourced communities.”

Toia

"As Director of Innovation at Radical Partners, I'm committed to keep building collaboratively by centering equity, creativity, and bold ideas that move communities forward across the US and LATAM. I'll accelerate and expand the offerings of our paid services and products while continuing to grow powerful coalitions that turn shared vision into collective action."

As always, thanks for changemaking with us.
