In 2025, EOX reached a milestone that has been part of our vision since the beginning: 25 State Centers by the end of 2025.

Across the country, the EOX Network of State Centers is helping business owners move from awareness to action, creating local pathways to employee ownership (EO) in the communities they know best. That localized approach is central to EOX’s mission.

Our 2025 Impact Report captures a monumental year of growth, investment, proof, and connection across the EOX Network. Inside, you’ll see how EOX expanded the State Center Network, deployed $1.18M in grants to strengthen local capacity, and helped support a year where interest in employee ownership surged across the country. Not only did we get to share the tremendous impact EOX has made in recent years →, we also got to celebrate EOX and PACEO founder and supporter, Ken Baker, who was recognized for his years of service to the Pennsylvania Center

While Steve has attended hundreds of similar celebrations during his 31 years of working with ESOP-owned companies, this one struck a chord → as the company announced that their group of participants collectively held roughly $285 Million in wealth across their ESOP accounts.

POLICY UPDATE: Providence, RI - S2922 advances in Senate

Rhode Island’s Senate version of the Rhode Island Center for Employee Ownership bill, S2922, passed the full Senate on May 7 by a unanimous 36–0 vote and has now been referred to the House Small Business Committee. The vote marks a major step forward for legislation that EOX helped spark more than two years ago, now carried forward by Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, her staff, and EO advocates like Tom Finn of AVID Products, who provided testimony and leadership in support of the bill.
