What do we do with the funding that YOU provide?

Well in August we provided assistance for 81 families!

  • YOU allowed us to pay for 19 families to receive medical care.

  • YOU allowed us to help with 7 vehicle repairs

  • YOU allowed 18 patients to receive equipment that was NOT covered by insurance.

  • YOU paid utility bills for 26 families!

YOU did all this and so much more!

A Word From Our Founder:

Dear Mom,

This month Annie’s Angels helped pay for 81 requests for assistance. Some of these requests were for household bills, some for equipment, doctor’s appointments and auto repairs and some for other needs. I want to tell you about one in particular because she reminds me of you.

This single mom B. has two girls, one of them with many special medical needs. B works so hard for her girls and so many hours but still just gets by. Working so hard B and the girls don’t qualify for state assistance. This summer, in order to give the family a much needed mental, physical and emotional break, B asked to send her daughter, SMN (Special Medical Needs) to summer camp. SMN has gone before. This is a highly regulated, medically proficient and responsible summer camp, specialized in SMN’s needs, but with budget cuts the camp, who has aided in the past, was unable to fully scholarship SMN this year. At this camp, you’re all in or all out so a partial scholarship didn’t mean attending part time. One of the counselors reached out to Annie’s Angels and we were able to partner with the camp to provide 3 weeks of camp to SMN!

Mom, this may seem like such a small token to some reading this letter, but to this family summer camp for SMN means the world and we made it possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. I hope you liked hearing about B and her girls mom. I’ll write again soon.

Love Always,

Bill

A Word from our Director Of Development

Today marks ONE YEAR since I stepped into the role of Director of Development and Operations for Annie's Angels Memorial Fund. I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunity to serve such a meaningful mission and to be part of a community that shows up with heart, compassion, and  generosity every single day. This past year has been full of growth, learning, and powerful reminders of why this work matters. I'm proud of what WE have accomplished and even more excited about what's ahead. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and Annie’s Angels on this journey. Here’s to continuing the mission of helping local families in need together!

August was filled with sunshine, a few rainy days, and quality time with loved ones as we made the most of every last bit of summer. Now, as we head back to school and back to routines, at Annie’s Angels, we are filled with gratitude for all of YOU, our supporters, volunteers, and partners who continue to show up for local families everyday!

Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to hand deliver hundreds of dollars in gift cards to local families in need covering essentials like gas, groceries, carseats, bedding, clothes and so much more. These small gestures provide real relief, and it’s all possible because of your support.

A heartfelt thank you to The Brook Casino for their incredible donation of $170,767.21 to Annie’s Angels Memorial Fund. Your contribution is already helping families in our community.

Thank you to OG Cannabis in Eliot, ME for hosting Sunset Sessions all summer long! An amazing series filled with music, food, local vendors, and community benefiting Annie’s Angels. We may be back for a few more sessions, stay tuned!

Cornhole for a Cause in partnership with the Lions Club DRSB was a fantastic success! Thank you to all the sponsors and players for making this year’s event one to remember. We’re grateful to partner with you again and look forward to our next collaboration.
