What do we do with the funding that YOU provide?

Well in May we provided assistance for 62 families!

  • YOU allowed us to pay for 32 families to receive medical care.

  • YOU allowed us to pay to have 3 vehicles repaired.

  • YOU allowed 14 patients to receive equipment that was NOT covered by insurance.

  • YOU paid utility bills for 11 families!

YOU did all this and so much more!

A Word From Our Founder:

Dear Mom,

I wanted to share Heavenly Ball with you. My speech was all about a demon possessed prostitute named Lilith. She made such a fuss in town that the priests decided to perform an exorcism, but Lilith’s demons were too strong, and they ran scared. That night Lilith heads off to the bar. She meets a guy outside the bar. He called her, but he called her Mary. She stops and he calls her again, Mary. Then he calls her a third time and touches her cheek, and the demons are gone, and the guy walks off. You see Lilith was her demon name, Mary was her given name. The next day one of the priests saw her in the market and called her, Lilith. She looked at him and said, “My name is Mary. He asked what happened, how can this be. She said, “I don’t know. I was one way, and now I am different, and the only thing in between was Him.”

You may recognize the story mom, you may even know her now, Mary Magdeline and you know the guy was Jesus.

Anyway, that phrase, I was one way and now I’m different and the only thing in between was Him, that’s exactly how Annie’s Angels was born. I went into St Teresa’s angry and broken, the priest took me by the shoulders, my body shook, my head was on fire, then, I was different. The only thing in between was Him.

All that got me thinking about how many Annie’s Angels families came to us one way, then were different, and the only thing in between was Annie’s Angels? The answer is ALL OF THEM! ALL 10,000+ of them.

Here’s what a woman named Lori had to say; “The $250.00 contribution to help me get a power wheelchair has helped so much! I am looking forward to finally having the ability to get around my home and get out. I will be able to go to community events and also participate in family gatherings. My family has 2 weddings coming up and a graduation party that I will actually be able to attend. I cannot express my joy and excitement to see people and feel like part of my community and family again! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

You see mom, Lori was one way, now she’s different. The only thing in between was Annie’s Angels. I’ve got 10,000 of these stories and I’m sure there’ll be 10,000 more. Please send help mom. We need donors at anniesangels.org.

Talk to you next month.

Love Bill
