April 2025 Newsletter

What do we do with the funding that YOU provide?

Well in March we provided assistance for 66 families!

  • YOU allowed us to pay for 21 families to receive medical care.

  • YOU allowed us to pay to have 3 vehicles repaired.

  • YOU allowed 12 patients to receive equipment that was NOT covered by insurance.

  • YOU paid utility bills for 14 families!

  • YOU helped 2 veterans receive furever companions!

YOU did all this and so much more!

A Word From Our Founder:

Welcome to our April Newsletter! If you’ve been following along for any length of time, you’ll have noticed a difference in the look and format of our newsletter. That’s because I do this little bit, and someone else, more professional and knowledgeable about such things, does the rest. That someone is Caitlynn Pitts.

Caitlynn and I found each other at an event at the Portsmouth Elks. Caitlynn will be sharing her family’s story at Heavenly Ball, so I won’t expand on the rest of the story, but she has gone from skeptical onlooker to Angel Family, to Board member, to Newsletter Editor all while taking care of her brother Kale. To hear the rest of the story, you’ll need to attend our 18th Anniversary Heavenly Ball on May 10, HB2025.Givesmart.com.

The reason I bring Caitlynn up, is that she has so much on her plate and still finds the time for something important to her, Annie’s Angels. I need Annie’s Angels to be important to YOU too. YOU are critical to our survival, YOU are the light that stands between a person’s brokenness of disease, illness or disability, and their ability to shine in the comfort YOU provide. I love our Angel Families, and I want YOU to love them too. Support Heavenly Ball, purchase your tickets to attend, bring family and friends. HB2025.Givesmart.com

A Word from our Director Of Development

Annie’s Angels has been invited as a beneficiary of many local events. When you choose Annie’s Angels you help local families struggling through disease, illness or disability. You also help us run unique programs, help individual families and causes in our community. This month we were chosen by multiple groups. I hope you were able to join us or followed along on social media.

Local children’s author Tabatha D’Agata hosted a book launch and signing at the Bookery in Manchester, NH. The Old Scarecrow is written in the loving memory of Bob Larochelle. Tabatha chose Annie’s Angels because of what WE do to help local families. I was overwhelmed with gratitude by this amazing family that has been through a huge loss of a great man. Their bond is inspiring and their openness to do good is contagious. I loved hearing the stories about Bob and meeting so many friends and family that all greeted each other with huge hugs. We need more of this in our world! Thank you for sharing the love with Angel families in need. Get yourself a copy of Tabatha’s new book. Our family loves it!

We completed our last day of the Winter Cornhole Series at Exeter Bowling Lanes and hosted by Reapers Cornhole! Annie’s Angels was invited as a beneficiary along with Key Collective, Seacoast Mental Health & The Community Children’s Fund. This was a tournament that invited all levels of cornhole players to come together to support local charities. Many local businesses sponsored the event and attended. We each had a day to spotlight our mission. I was so impressed with our community coming out and supporting each charity. This collaboration is an example of how nonprofits can be stronger together and provide more assistance to our community. I hope you will join us at our next community event!

Do you have a community event in mind? Annie’s Angels would love to be apart of it.

With Gratitude,
Susan Young
Director of Development

For the last 18 years, YOU have done all this and so much more. Please help us continue to never say NO to a family struggling through disease, illness or disability by sharing this newsletter with your family and community.
