Today, the 2023 legislative session will begin. I’m excited to serve the people of Georgia - and most especially my neighbors in House District 147. For the next three to four months, I’ll be spending much of my time in Atlanta and away from my home and family as I work to make decisions about how to best protect the prosperity of our state. There is a lot of work to be done.
If you are receiving this newsletter, it means you’ve connected with our outgoing State Representative Heath Clark in the past or with me during my campaign. I wanted to make sure you still heard from your representative. If you do not wish to remain on this list, CLICK HERE to unsubscribe.
Below I’ve included some helpful links to websites for the General Assembly so you can remain connected to your state government:
CLICK HERE to visit the Georgia General Assembly website. This is the site for the entire state legislature, and has some valuable resources and information regarding legislation, upcoming events, and news for both chambers.
CLICK HERE to visit the State House website. Here you can find contact information for legislators, more information regarding house legislation, committee activities, and other helpful details.
CLICK HERE to view the legislative livestream when the House is in session. You can also stream most committee hearings, but please check the respective committee’s page for more details.
CLICK HERE to see my legislative information page. This page will keep you up to date with legislation that I’ve sponsored or co-sponsored, as well as contact information for my office. Freshman legislators have not been assigned offices or committees yet, so please keep checking back over the next week.
I take this responsibility to heart, and I take my duty to you very seriously. I look forward to hearing from you; please visit my website https://bethanyballard.com for more information.
