Meet Mia Urich, one of the brightest young stars in the La Di Da community. At just 7 years old, Mia has already become a familiar face at local open mics - winning over crowds with her guitar playing and vocals. She’s been taking lessons with La Di Da for the past 2.5 years, and her growth has been nothing short of incredible. What makes Mia stand out isn’t just her talent—it’s her confidence, consistency, and genuine love for performing. She’s also surrounded by an amazing support system. Her dad, Luis, has joined the journey by taking guitar and ukulele lessons himself, and both Luis and Patricia have played a huge role in encouraging Mia every step of the way.

Business Spotlight:Austin Mercantile
This month, we’re excited to spotlight Austin Mercantile, a warm and inviting Bend, Oregon business that has become a wonderful home for live music and community gathering. On April 30th, Austin Mercantile will host “An Evening with La Di Da,” featuring performances by Chris Huffine and a small group of standout La Di Da students, including Mia Urich, Luis Urich (Mia's dad), Tristan Marshall, and Colton Skoviak. Over the past year and a half, Austin Mercantile has become a meaningful performance home for La Di Da, and Chris has developed a valued friendship with owner Sara Hammond. We’d love to help fill the room on April 30th—not only to support these exceptional young musicians, but also to celebrate a local business that genuinely champions live music and community.

La Di Da Releases Self-Titled SongPerformed by our former student Samantha Short
There’s a lot happening at La Di Da Lessons this spring. Beginning May 15, a modest subscription pricing adjustment will take effect for all current students. We’re also introducing new subscription options to offer even more flexibility for students and families. All our current students will receive a separate notification with specific information on April 16th. Behind the scenes, we’re improving the student experience by transitioning from Dropbox to Google Drive for lesson materials and information sharing. We’re also working toward a new scheduling and billing system designed to be much more intuitive and user-friendly. Finally, the La Di Da Lessons website has recently undergone a major makeover and is now more informative, interactive, and easier to navigate.
