2026 Saturday Ladies Closer

What a day to wrap up the 2026 Saturday Ladies season!

A huge thank you to the Saturday Ladies Committee for all of the time and effort they put in throughout the year to make it such a great season.

Thank you as well to all of our sponsors for your continued support and to all of the ladies who participated throughout the year. We appreciate everything you do to make the Saturday Ladies group such a fun part of Avondale!

Signature Event

What a night!

The 2026 9 in the Light, 9 at Night was one for the books!

We kicked things off with 9 holes in the daylight, enjoyed dinner together, and then lit up Avondale for 9 holes of glow golf under the stars. The night wrapped up with a DJ, music, and a great party!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event such a success. There’s nothing better than seeing the club packed with members having a great time together.

Already looking forward to doing it again next year!

Fall Simulator League at Avondale

Keep your game sharp all winter long in our indoor simulator league. Two person teams will play weekly 9-hole rounds on rotating virtual courses with flexible scheduling. Weekly rounds are 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Entry Fee: $180 per team (includes weekly skins)

Bay Time: $15 per week for members & $37.50 per week for non-members

Week 2 — October 26–November 1
Week 3 — November 2–8
Week 4 — November 9–15
Week 5 — November 16–22

Thanksgiving Week — OFF

Week 6 — November 30–December 6

Avondale Golf Club Foundation: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Thank You, Avondale!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Club, we raised $4,500 to support the families impacted by the recent fire.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed and helped us come together for members of our community during a difficult time.

On Thursday we presented a check to Spokane Valley Firefighters Benevolent Association and we were proud to do so on behalf of everyone who donated.

Thank you for once again showing what the Avondale community is all about!

We’re hosting the High School 6A State Tournament on October 12–13, and the Coeur d'Alene High School coach is looking for dependable volunteers to help keep the day running smoothly.

GOVERNANCE & LEADERSHIP

Steady Leadership, Clear Decisions

A concise look at recent board conversations and what is coming next in the club’s governance.

  • The Board reviewed the 2027 obligatory capital responsibilities and approved the next phase of cart path work beginning September 15th, 2026.

  • The Board and key staff are working through the beginning stages of governance training.

  • The membership committee has hosted 3 focus groups in 2026 to deep dive into member feedback. We look forward to building on this in 2027.

  • The election will open following the Board Meeting on September 28th.
