A Note from the Food & Beverage Team

Dear Members,

September is here, and we have a lot happening at The Bar & Grill!

We’re kicking off the month with a tremendous September specials menu, and we hope you’ll stop in and give it a try. As we head toward fall and winter, our team has also been working on a great lineup of events to keep the Club busy and give everyone more reasons to come together during the offseason.

Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

Winter Trivia – Every Wednesday at 6 PM
Beginning October 7th, Wednesday night trivia is back! Grab a team, come in for dinner and drinks, and join us each week.

Jukebox Bingo – Coming This Winter
We’re adding Jukebox Bingo to the winter lineup again this year. More dates and details will be announced soon.

Sing-Along Brunch – October 17th
We have something a little different planned for brunch! Join us October 17th for our first Sing-Along Brunch. More details are coming soon.

Whiskey Guest Chef Dinner – November 5th
Save the date for a special evening on November 5th featuring whiskey and a guest chef. We’re still putting the finishing touches on the menu and experience, but we’re excited about this one. More information will be coming soon.

Continuing to Improve

Following our Food & Beverage Focus Group on August 1st, our team has continued working through the feedback we received and making enhancements to the dining experience.

One addition you may have noticed is a flatbread option on our monthly specials over the last two months. If you haven’t tried one yet, stop in and give it a shot; they’ve been delicious and have been a great addition to the specials lineup.

We’ve also made a couple of changes to some Bar & Grill staples. Our burgers are now 1/3 lb. patties, giving us a more consistent burger throughout the menu.

We’ve also moved to a thicker-cut ribeye. As a reminder, our ribeyes are hand-cut by our kitchen team, and we think the thicker cut makes an already great steak even better.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the August focus group and to all of our members who continue to share feedback with us. We’re listening, we’re making adjustments, and we’re excited about where our Food & Beverage operation is headed.

Most importantly, we’re looking forward to a fun fall and winter at Avondale. We hope you’ll come out, try the September specials, join us for an event, and spend some time with fellow members at The Bar & Grill.
