HOLIDAY WEEKEND HIGHLIGHT

2026 Labor Day Open

What a weekend at Avondale!

The 2026 Labor Day Open brought together a full field for two great days of competition, camaraderie, and everything that makes this tournament one of our favorite traditions of the year.

From Saturday morning’s opening shotgun to the excitement of the afternoon Horse Race and Sunday’s final round, the energy around the Club was outstanding.

A huge thank you to our players, staff, and sponsors who helped make the weekend such a success. A special thank you to Premier Electric and CDA Nissan for their tremendous support of this year’s event and for adding even more excitement to the Horse Race by doubling the payout!

Congratulations to all of our flight winners and champions!

Another Labor Day Open is in the books and we’re already looking forward to making 2027 even better!

Congratulations to our Horserace Champions; Jayce Yoshida & Shaun Engle. #18 came down to a 3 way chip off for win, place and show. Jayce hit a low spinner to a front right pin to about 3 feet! What a shot, Jayce!

Congratulations to Overall Low Gross Champions; Reid Hatley and Corey Prugh!

Congratulations to Overall Low Net Champions; Jonah Namson and Chaz Halstead!

Avondale Golf Club Foundation: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The Avondale Golf Club Foundation has been meeting to discuss how we can best support those affected by the devastating Spokane wildfires. While numerous ideas and opportunities to help have been considered, our focus quickly turned to one question: How can we make an immediate and meaningful impact for the families who need it most?

The Foundation is coordinating with Spokane Valley Firefighters Benevolent Association, to collect donations and move those funds directly toward families affected by the wildfires as quickly as possible. This approach allows us to respond to immediate needs and ensures that your contributions do not sit idle—they are put to work where they can make a difference.

Our goal is simple: bring our Avondale community together and turn generosity into meaningful relief for our neighbors during a time of tremendous need.
