From the 18-hole Ladies!
As of June 1, our club membership stands at 95 ladies, with an average of 50 players participating in each league week.
Our Opening Day luncheon was attended by 36 members. During our 18 hole annual meeting, we approved updated bylaws and engaged in a thoughtful discussion regarding the use of alternate tee boxes during league play. Following a meeting with Chase and Taylor, it was decided that the Yellow/Green combination tees may be used, with the specific combination to be determined at the beginning of each season.
June brings an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and several special events:
June 4 – Hayden Exchange, welcoming the ladies of Hayden Lake Country Club to
Avondale
June 11 & 18 – Dale the Duck Tournament
June 25 – Member-Member Tournament, our premier event of the season
The Member-Member festivities will begin with a cocktail party the evening before the tournament. This year's tournament theme is "Welcome Back to School."
We look forward to another fun and successful month of golf, friendship, and competition.
